With each new melon added to the cart, the pile grew and grew, until soon it was almost taller than the yubari was! Soon enough all the fruit was in the cart, and Dinnye moved to his father's side, tugging on the end of his coat.
Elliot, who was simply listening to the fruit vendor rant nonsense about how hard it was to obtain such a harvest, turned to him and nodded.
"I'm sorry sir, but I must make my leave now." Normally, the military man would never be so abrupt and eager to leave, but this man was one of the rudest he's ever come across; though that may have been due to the incident.
A few long strides, he was now infront of Kizoku, kneeling in front of him.
"Now, can you help us with this cart? Our house is just outside of the Marketplace, right where the gates begin." In fact, he doubted Kizoku realized what the gates were guarding. It was shrouded in an immense garden, his estate that is.
Dinnye was elated! Not only had he met his friend since before he was born, but now he got to come over!! Oh how very exciting!!!

Kizoku inclined his head as he wrapped his arms behind back, clutching one with the other. It was only proper to be a gentleman when approached, yes? Kizoku turned his head next looking for the said gate. If he could get a fix on the location, it would be easier for him to trek over towards the area.
Kizoku flashed a rather small smile to Dinnye. "Is your house small, Dinnye?" he asked in a small voice while moving behind the cart to push it. "All this fruit would probably fill it up, heh!"

As his father wrote out a check to hand to the vendor, Dinnye waited beside Kizoku, writing on his board.
Not quite.. Our house is one of the largest in the city. I find myself getting really lost inside of it sometimes. He held it up for his dear friend to see, then tucked it safely into his bag.
"Now, are we all ready to go? It's up the hill, so it'll be a bit difficult to get there, but I'm sure with your help, we can make it~" Despite his rather thin stature, Elliot was strong. He gripped the handles to the heavy cart, lifting it to about his waist.
"Grab the sides and help me pull it up the hill."
