Hello and welcome to my home..

..my name is Saint Orasia, and I've invited you here for the sole purpose of relaxing -- taking a load of your minds for once. I encourage everyone who enters to pull up a pile of wonderfully scented hay, an empty crate, or have a seat on the provided couch and either share an unforgetable experience with your animal companions or enjoy the stories being shared by people or other animals. Don't be shy, for this isn't a competition! Outside the perimeters of this barn are fellow barns and areas with interesting individuals in each one. Sometimes an animal will come to my barn and share an experience, but if you want more on something or someone, go to their personal barn. They really do enjoy visitors, from what I can recall. Well, enough of my pointless talking! You won't be able to enjoy my barn and it's sister barns if I keep chatting to you, huh?

This is not an RPG -- it's a story-sharing facility thing. It also allows me the chance to write countless short, funny stories depending on what perspective people want to listen to. It might involve mainly animals from Orasia's barn until I can get a handle on things, but it will soon spread to stories from all the other animals. People are free to tell their stories, whether from their perspective or an animal's too. If this thread is in the wrong area, tell me so!

All of what is involved with the Orasia, her barn yard, and the other flanking barn yards is copyright to me. Please don't steal these concepts. I want to use them again, later, for a different purpose.

Here, you have the option of entering the fenced in area through the one large entrance or separate two entrances. Inside the outside area, there is just plain grass and a few beautiful trees to hang in or climb. By entering through the main doors, you will only be able to acces the bottom barn area. To reach the upper areas, you have to exit the large barn doors and take a left to climb the stairs (shaded from the weather with a roof-like structure). Meanwhile, on the bottom, people can hide under the stairs area, or make their personal piles of hay from the two large piles provided. This area is still, currently, under construction to improve the individual's experience. So look out for better features in the future!

If you decide to scale the stairs, you will have to open a simple door to enter. To your left will be the refrigerator and pantry area -- always supplied with foods you would enjoy. To your right, is one of the two small hay piles to crash and relax in. There are also worn out but still descently made couches that have three pillows to each and a blanket hanging over the back area. To a shady corner is a pile of empty crates for those who want to sit above everyone or have a different kind of sitting area. Currently, the only way back down to the bottom area is to scale the stairs back outside and enter the main doors, but this will soon be fixed. Just give it time. ^^

Couches/Sofas: Although they are old, these three cushion seats are still available for good use. They usually come with three pillows to each, but we plan on acquiring more to make a pillow pile for those who don't want hay, couches, or crates.

Hay: Even when the hay is shared with the other barn animals, located in a separate barn, we still have plenty to use. This hay, however, is mixed with appealing herbs for a pleasurable scent. Each hay pile has its own unique smell, so it's fun to curl up in different ones.

Crates: They're just normal traveling crates that have seen their fair share of traveling. We have assembled them upstairs and out of the way in a corner for now. We may use them for a better purpose. Right now, they are piled atop each other; three on the bottom, two in the middle, and one on top. Be careful around them though! Nails could be exposed and the pile is not that stable.

Food/Drink Area: Contains a good sized area for preparing snacks and drinks for yourself or friends. We carry every kind of drink, other than alcohol, and every kind of food for your tastes. Alcohol used to be common until The General and his cat friends got into it. Those few weeks of drunken torture was enough for all of us, so it was put to a vote to elimate the collection -- sorry.

..other items soon to come!

.:[Saint Orasia's Barn Residents]:.

The General is a tricky, military-loving feline that runs the Cat Community of this country side area. He uses my barn as a place for his people to settle down and feast on the countless mice -- which he calls a war, for some odd reason. He is practically harmless to you along with his fellow followers, unless your a mouse. His personality is proud and arrogant, and he prefers to walk around with a silly monocle on his left eye and a sunflower on his right shoulder. He claims it is a medal from the Winter Battle of 94, but every time I ask him that, the date changes along with the name. On his head is a dark green General's hat, with wheat stalks entwined around it for some symbolic (and I bet silly) purpose. A deal was made between he and I that if he doesn't harm me, the barn is free for use involving his purposes. It's a shame The Admiral thinks differently.

The Admiral is the leader of the Mice Community, and he is treated with deep respect by me (Saint Orasia). Although I am a Barn Owl and eat mice, I've made a pact with him not to feast on his followers when he came to my aid quite a few times. So if you ever see I'm missing, it's because I'm eating wild forest mice or other delicious creatures. I don't entirely understand why he and The General constantly think the battle between mice and cats is a raging war, but it's quite comical to watch. You should try asking them, individually of course, if they will share their 'war' stories. I've heard a few myself and I can honestly testify that they are enjoyable. ^^ The Admiral is also harmless, but just like his counterpart, The General, he is arrogant and proud. He sports a common naval officer hat with a seed of some sort in the front, center. A small flower petal is on his right shoulder which stands for some battle I cannot recall, but just like The General, the dates and names change anyway.

Duke, Rusty, and Dakota are three retired hunting dogs. They've taken up a life of leisure and hung up their hunting dog personas long before The General showed up -- which benefits the Cat Community perfectly. Duke is the black lab, Rusty is the brown, and Dakota (the only female) is the golden. They usually hang out in the hay piles or on the couches upstairs away from the mayhem downstairs. Duke is the solemn, quiet giant with not much to say unless it is a tidbit of wise wisdom. Rusty may have an aging, old voice but he still loves to share his stories of the hilarious, but glorious stories of the old days. Dakota is the only female that sports a true heart to match. She often prefers to help The Admiral in his plights against The General because she has a current dislike for The General -- ask her to find out more, but it had to do with a certain bone, I think.

Other Surrounding Barns Map

It's pretty self-explanatory, so I will go through it quickly. My barn is labelled 'Orasia's Barn', and if you use that for a starting point, you'll never get lost. The central water fountain is where fresh water is provided for all of the animals to drink, and the same goes for the food troughs -- although there has been arguments to separate troughs being given to each barn. Every animal barn gets their own pasture land (except the birds' barn) and there is a section of forest behind the sheep and pig pasture. The forest is fenced off from the pasture lands and the S.W.R. area, but Dakota, Rusty, and Duke often have to patrol the area for problems with other animals.

.:[Other Residents]:.

There is a large number of sheep that go under the name of the Baa Baa Collective (or B.B.C.). Master of the Herd is the leader's title, but I have no idea what his name is -- he just won't tell me! He runs the sheep herd that grazes in the abundant pasture lands. His flock stays in the barn next to this one because it's bigger and I asked for it. Why? The sheep flock is a bunch of silly gossiping ninnies, that's why! They gossip about anything! The reason why Mother Nature despises Father Winter, why grass changes its colors, or why clouds don't always show up. It's rather annoying.. Master of the Herd, or Master Ram for short, is rather quiet and keeps to himself. Unlike the rest of his herd, he tells truthful information concerning what goes on in this country, so go to him if you want to learn the latest on what's happening or going on. Don't trust the other sheep. You'll be led in circles!

The Horse Administration, sometimes called H.A., uses another separate barn with horse stalls for his entire community -- consisting of about 25 horses total of different backgrounds. The H.A. is led by a large black stallion called SlowDown and his mate, a mare named BeNice. If you want to know why their names are so weird, ask them yourselves. I dare not spoil the humor! The H.A. has a few good stories of adventure and danger to keep the blood running and the mind thinking, if you ask me.

Another barn is home to the B.A. (Bovine Administration) and is headed by a headstrong, stubborn bull named Stonewall (no relation to the other human guy). He is quite a withdrawn, moody individual, so keep your distance of him, I suggest. As for the others, the cows, they aren't as chatty as the sheep but still talk a great deal. And what is their subject of conversations? Either milk or Stonewall's history -- riddled with sadness and a bit of humor if you like. Make sure to ask nicely for their story times, otherwise they will dismiss you with a tail flick to the cheek.

Swines We R, a.k.a. S.W.R., is the organization of pigs in this area. They live in their own barn area, away from the rest because of the smell. Sir Francis and his wife, Lady Paris, keep this group in order as far as they possibly can while being mostly ignorant. If you can stand the smell and sight of dirty, stinky pigs, you'll enjoy their tales of the Piglet Races, and other crazy contests only a pig can come up with.

There is a portion of this crazy area that belongs to the United Flock Brigade, U.F.B., where all birds congregate (flying or not). Chickens, ducks, turkeys, geese, swans, hawks..! You name it, that bird is there for a chat, although the wild birds tend to stick to themselves or hang around for short periods compared to the barn birds. Each species has their own set of tales just like each bird or animal has their own personality. There is no leader of this hodge-podge yet, but I'm betting that frequent Great Gray Owl, Basil, will assume the position sooner or later. He's really diplomatic and highly respect by all the birds (wild or domestic). I'd keep away from the vultures though, because they tend to stare at you a lot than talk.

Daily Story

This area is for the daily story told by either the voted for adminstration or on random increments. Today's story will come from the Horse Administration's leader, SlowDown, and his mate, BeNice. Although they were elected first, they have gone off on a relaxing trot through the forest -- darn this luck. As soon as I can locate them, I will bring them here to share something with you all.
