Ray I just love these images you posted. I do see a few flaws in them but I even see flaws in mine. But you have a natural manga style that is appealing. Your coloring is very nicely done too...the nice look of natural mediums. I should probably scan some of my pencils. Though I'll admit Fanart is not my forte at all. I get so picky with it if I try and then mess the entire image up. confused

Good job. I think you could do better CG work, but that does take practice. I'd love to see more.

You want tips...I'll go into detail if just for you.

You have a good basic idea. Highlighting and shading. Though you don't have much contrast within the colors. Also starting with a solid base color helps. Generally the darker the better and working your way lighter. I kinda like a middle and go both ways lighter and darker...probably takes more time but that's how I do it.
Also if you want a more Cell shaded look try not to be too smooth.
