This is all awful! Our Washington officers are the nicest! Man ignorant fools making police lives hard for them and their familys. May god bless them all.

any one in teh south and heard about the bs with the cop in portland that shot witha beanbag a 12 year old i think taht was fighting the cops?

I just sit back and wonder. I've been raised here all my life seattle is the hometown of grunge and Washington is supposed to be one of the safest places given theirs no deadly storms. I haven't heard about that bean bag story. Its crazy though people are loosing their minds. I think were too close to California and gang bangers are coming up here making it bad. I cant stand seeing our state turn bad. Its actually caused rasim. A friend of mine asks me why all the black guys are killing cops in Washington and I was hurt he'd ask that considering I'm black myself. My answer was and is ignorance. People foolish ignorance. Everyone I think you should get and tell your family to get some bumper stickers to support the police. They would really like that. So they know we appreciate their work. And perhaps if we can assemble a crime watch group we can put an end to this and get are states beauty back.

I think we should support the cops, but its not like this is the first time something like this has happened... And there is racism and hate all over this state, and its not like its news that we have a high crime rate (not as high as other places, but still) if you haven't noticed that what rock have you been living under? If the shooting turns out to be the turning point for you people to finally notice thats good, but also very sad at the same time.

I'm kinda chocking it up to people believing into that whole 2012 thing so they're letting their inhibitions go a little bit...what sucks is that 8 officers got caught in the crosshairs of said inhibition loosening... gonk

I dont necessarily feel too much pity. An officer obviously knew that he was putting his life at risk when he joined the police force. I, personally hate 99.9% of south king & pierce county police from past experience & negligence towards actual crime.

I live not too far from there too. It was nice to see all the prayers and flowers set out. Life is precious. One of the officers was always at my school too. God bless.
