I really need help. Everyone I talk to is calling me a poser. I want to explain to them I am emo but they call me a poser. I really need help. What should I do What should I say?

Also, don't dress according to stereotypes, listen to music because you dig it, not because it's popular, be yourself. If you do anything because it's cool to do it, you're a poser indeed.

Calling yourself emo is one of the dumbest things you do. Emo is not a lifestyle or a state of being.

Real emos never say they are emo.
If asked, they say, "Well.."
And generally go into a long explanation.
If you are calling yourself emo, you are making yourself a poser.

i agree with everyone else, dont call yourself emo. and what i do is just ignore people. youmight not be a loner but thats what i do
