Ok, this is an IRL anniversary emergency. My father is in Iraq, and will be missing the anniversary to my mom, Dec. 13th. That time is rolling up VERY fast, and I still haven't found the perfect gift. Dad has it hiding somewhere, and will try and call to tell her where to find it, as a romantic suprise deal. She doesn't know he's even going to call. (I think thats just the sweetest thing EVER.)
I want to be apart of it to, so, I'm thinking:
Take mom to a movie, then dinner, then give her the gift I got her. (A ruby ring.)
OR Dinner, then movie, then ring.
OR Ring, movie, dinner...so on.
What kind of schedule should I use?

The dinner first - want to fill your mother up with good food first, instead of the nasty s**t they over-price behind the counter. Then a movie, I should say. When you get home, give her the ring before you go to bed, or before your dad calls. That's my opinion.
