Appearance Description
A balding middle aged man, his once proud black hair has greyed out completely now, his hairline receeding into a classic U shaped pattern baldness. The man has some girth to him, coming off as fairly chubby however there's still more than enough muscle in his frame to show the youngsters just how to pull off what he knows. His face is scarred from a shuriken blow to the forehead over his left eye, and a broken nose that set offcenter. His glasses are worn constantly, thin wire frames around rectangular lenses that hand low on his nose. Most often Galen wears a dark tan colored longcoat, black shirt and pants, and dark blue sandles.

Personality
Known as something of a blowhard as he's more than willing to go on for hours and hours about his personal achievements and greatness. He dislikes most people but is easily swayed by those who flatter him, or have certain, assets. A weakness he shares with several other elder ninja. Apparently it must be something about the work.

History
Galen Terat in a veteran of many, many campaigns and missions, almost too many to list. But few remember who he was, or who he started out as. He was born and raised in Iwa, something of a spoiled child, used to having lots of attention and usually near the top of his grades. He advanced fairly quickly through the ranks however, mostly due to surviving and a knack for learning Jutsus and Techniques. While nowhere near as legendary as the Copy Ninja in sheer jutsus known he is one of the most trained Ninjas in Iwa, at least in the sheer number of jutsus. Sadly as he advanced in age and the hard toll missions had on his body have robbed him of most of his power, leaving him valuable mostly as a repository of jutsus and source of experience gained wisdom. He now spends most of his days tutoring promising young ninja in advanced arts, sneaking into the women's bathhouses, and living as well as he can, loving to enjoy the finer things in life.
