It had been a bit of time since his last adventure out into the world, stuck at home due to his mother being so busy with world. If nothing else at least there were a lot of interesting people to meet with while at home that he could meet and play with. He looked up at his guardian for a long moment before giving her a smile, "Where are we going today?" He asked, wondering where they were off to, knowing her it could be anywhere from a clothing store to a place to get snacks to a pet store.
"I thought we would wander the mall for a while, see what we could see." She said, looking Ai over in a close manner. She had decided that they needed to find him a hobby that consisted of something other then him watching television and pointing out those on it that he thought were cute. Anything had to be better then that after all. It was cute that he seemed to crush on everyone under the sun at times but other times it worried her. Last thing Vanleia wanted was for him to crush on the wrong person that was either dangerous or didn't want the attention of a love struck boy.
"We will stop in a few stores, see if we find anything interesting. Sound good?" She asked, giving a smile.
Ai gazed up at her for a moment moment, one hand lifting to tuck his hair back behind his ear before nodding his head, "Alright, sounds good." He murmured, he rather liked the Mall and wandering around there. It always had some of the most interesting shops which were run by interesting people. He gave a happy sort of sound as they went inside the double doors that lead into the massive place full of various shops and turned to look at his guardian, "Can we go to the Bridal Shop? I want to get a veil!" He chirped, having been so taken by the one he got to wear at the theater that he wanted one of his own, "Oh! Can we get more cookies too?" He happily started listed off things that he wanted to get, see, and do.
The woman nodded before motioning to him, "Lead the way."

Dorian had been quite bored all day. He had tried watching tv, reading, and looking at some of Knife's random collections. He'd even tried dabbling a bit with painting but he couldn't really find his "inspiration'. He finally sighed and set to pondering what else he could do. He glanced towards Knife's office.
"Hmm" Dorian made a contemplative noise to himself. He rose from his chair and knocked on the door. Knife who had been reading over some document peered up and looked at the door.
"Come in." The handle turned and in came Dorian. He sighed and sat himself into the chair in front of Knife's desk. Knife put on his business face teasingly. "And what is it that I can help you with today Sir?" Dorian swung his legs lightly.
"I'm really bored Knife, I've done everything I can think of. I know you don't want me to bother you while you're in your office, but can you please give me an idea of what to do?" Knife leaned back in his chair and considered. He narrowed his eyes slightly.
"Well I have a few ideas, however they require an investment of my money." Dorian looked at him in interest.
"Well what were you thinking of?" Knife reached into his pocket to pull out his wallet.
"I was thinking of sending you to the mall." He pulled out some twenties and reached out to hand them to Dorian. Dorian reached over the desk to receive them but Knife pulled the money back slightly. "And what will I get in return for my investment?" Dorian thought hard about that and then smiled.
"I'll paint you an amazing picture about my day at the mall." Knife tried to keep a serious face but then broke out into a delighted chuckle. "That will do fine. Here you are." Dorian smirked triumphantly.
"Thanks Knife!" he pocketed the money. "See you later." Knife smirked in return and then looked at him slightly worriedly.
"Don't forget your parasol, it's a bit sunny out today." Dorian rolled his eyes.
"Yes yes yes, of course." Dorian went and stared at his closet before carefully selecting his clothes. After changing he selected a parasol that matched and headed to the mall. He walked down the street, keeping to the shadows if he could. Finally he arrived at the mall. He walked over to one of the directories and stared at it trying to figure out where he wanted to go first.

Ai was moving ahead of his guardian by a few steps then when he got to far ahead he would loop around to head back to Vanleia's side only to trot off again. She was walking far to slow for his liking, he wanted to get to where they were going sooner then later... though he wasn't sure which store they would be going to first. He'd been here a few times but not enough to know the layout of the Mall as much as he would like. Two laps later the boy found himself pausing and sniffing at the air, there was... something there, something he was trying and failing at placing. It made was a somewhat familiar scent in a way but at the same time it was strange.
"Hmm... what is that?" He asked himself, head tilting to one side before he started to move forward quickly toward where he could scent the strange smell. It was near to one of the directories which he found to be quite convenient. This not only helped them in finding where the stores were at that they were seeking out but it helped him in finding the scent that he was tracking.
He paused on one side of the directory and moved forward, peeking around to the other side and found himself starring at a rather pretty boy with red hair and matching eyes. He sniffed at the air before blinking, hey... the smell was coming from him. He felt himself flushing a bit before he gave a smile and a little wave of his hand, "H-Hello there." He called out in a somewhat shy sounding voice.

Dorian had been trying to find the children's clothing store, peering intently at the map with all the store names. There were so many shops to go to. There were even one that sold painting supplies and paintings. He was having trouble deciding where he wanted to go first and where he would want to spend his money.
Suddenly another boy with silver eyes and a very light pinkish brown hair peered around at him. Dorian peered back and watched a small adorable blush break out over his attractive features. The boy waved at him and greeted him a bit shyly. Dorian smiled in return. "Hello to you too." He was careful not to show his fangs too much as he smiled, just like Knife had taught him. As he waved he felt a little shy because he hadn't really gotten a chance to talk to other boys his age yet. But Knife had been sure to teach him all the things he should say when meeting someone. "My name is Dorian, what's yours?" He twirled his the closed parasol on his shoulder, the only outward sign that he was feeling nervous at this point.

Ai couldn't help but perk up when the other boy smiled back and greeted him, even gave his name, "My name is Ai." He murmured, stepping around the directory fully and stepped a bit closer to this new boy. He found his heart racing as it always did when he found himself starting to crush on someone new. It was the downside to his flavor of Pocky, not that he really saw it as such. He merely enjoyed the company of others, crushed on them, and wanted to hang out with them. Something his guardian secretly didn't like.
"Are you shopping today too, Dorian?" He asked in a curious manner, maybe the pretty red head would be able to travel with them just as Kizoku had the last time Ai had visited this place? Oh, he hoped so! It was always nicer to be able to travel with cute people, not that he didn't like Vanleia but he liked hanging out with other boys.

Dorian watched the boy step from around the directory, and introduce himself. If he didn't know better, he'd say he could hear Ai's heart racing. Dorian eyed him briefly. He decided that Ai was definitely attractive, and well dressed as well. He hoped maybe he could spend the rest of his time at the mall with this boy.
He smiled again and nodded at the question. "Yes, Knife gave me money so I could entertain myself here. The only problem is I really don't know where I want to go." he tapped his finger contemplatively against his lips and then pointed to the map. "I was thinking about going to the painting supply store. What about you Ai? Where are you planning to go?"

Ai found himself wondering who 'Knife' was and looked around for a moment but it didn't seem as though the other boy had anyone with him. Oh wow, imagine being able to travel around on his own... that could be interesting he thought to himself but his guardian seemed pretty eager to always be nearby to where he was so he didn't want to make her feel bad by asking to be left to himself.
"Painting supplies, that's neat. I painted on a pumpkin once for Halloween because I didn't want to carve it. To messy." He told Dorian before he lifted a hand to brush it over a lock of his own hair, "Ahh, well I was... was think of getting a veil. I tried one on not long ago and it was so pretty."
Ai had major weaknesses for both pretty people and pretty clothing, which made Dorian that much more interesting to him since he was pretty and wore pretty stuff.

"Yes, I promised if Knife let me come and gave me money, I'd paint him a picture about my trip to the mall, so I probably should spend some of my money there. I've never tried carving a pumpkin but.." he made a face of dislike, managing to look pretty even when he frowned. "I wouldn't want to do it either, I'd be afraid my clothes would get stained. Painting them sounds like fun though." His face brightened back into a smile thinking about what kind of things he could paint on a pumpkin.
He watched Ai fiddle with a lock of hair and pondered how he would look in a veil. "I would think you'd look very pretty in a veil." he said with confidence after imagining it a moment. "You know we should go together, I'll go with you to look at veils, and then you can come with me to the painting supply store and then look at clothes if you want. I thought maybe this store for clothes." He reached out and pointed to the name of the store and shot Ai a smile. Dorian was eager to have a companion, especially one who was both his age and so pretty.

"Exactly, I was really careful when I did the face on the pumpkin so that I didn't get the paint on me." He murmured, thinking of the pretty design that was put onto the orange vegetable. It had been pretty cute though he had a feeling that Vanleia was a little disappointed that they hadn't gotten to carve the pumpkin as was normal.
Ai's eyes got a bit wide before his cheeks colored a deep pink at Dorian's comment that he would look pretty in a veil. He gave a little smile and ducked his head, "Ahh, thank you..." He said stricken for a moment with shyness before he lifted his head again, "I would like that, to get to go shopping with you will be fun. I have been here a few times so I can help you find places."
He turned to look up at the at the map, looking it over. The only place he wasn't certain about was where the bridal shop was at since he'd never been there before and never had any reason to go there.

A grin crept over Dorian's face as the blush broke out over Ai's face. He felt oddly pleased with himself. Making Ai blush was...fun and a little satisfying and he wasn't exactly sure why that was the case. He mentally shrugged. "Well that's good, I've never been here before though I've been past here with Knife a few times and always wanted to see it. It seems really big." He wasn't going to say out loud that it seemed a little too big to be walking around in by himself, but he was very relieved he no longer had to do so. He turned his attention back to the map for a moment just to make sure that he had his bearings and to help Ai locate the bridal shop. He scanned the list and then looked for the matching colored block. "Ah, there it is." he said as he reached out and pointed at the section it was in.

Ai leaned in to check the point that Dorian was pointing at before giving a smile, "Ohhh, yes." He murmured, then looked along the map to where the star was that marked where they were standing, "Its not to long of a walk from here." He was eager to get going on their way to the bridal shop, to see if he could find the item that he was searching wholeheartedly for. Perhaps the boy was a bit to curious about weddings and everything that were tied to them but he couldn't help it, they were so interesting! Everything about them, the clothing, the food, and every other detail had him so fascinated.

Starting off in the direction of the shop Dorian turned to Ai. "Shall we then?"
Dorian continued heading that way with Ai until they reached the shop. From the outside he could see that there were lots of beautiful white dresses inside along with clumps of color where the bridesmaid's dresses were. There were veils and tiaras and things that were flowery. It all looked very pretty and Dorian paused just so he could stare at them a bit. Knife hadn't really talked about wedding to him, so he didn't know that much about them other then what he'd see on maybe a random tv show. He wondered why they wore the veil and why the dresses were all white. It just seemed like a whole new different world at the moment.

Ai was all but stuck to the glass as they arrived at he bridal store, eyes wide, cheeks flushed, looking so very excited about what was within before he looked over at Dorian and gave the redhead a happy smile, "Isn't all of this stuff wonderful?" He asked of the boy that was already labeled as 'friend' in his mind, along with many other complimentary things. Dorian really was a pretty thing, wasn't he? His hair and eyes both reminded Ai of rubies. Along with wedding fare the boy gotten a taste for pretty jewelry as well since he'd ended up looking at a lot of those sorts of magazines since they had all kinds of wedding bands as well as engagement rings in them.
"Lets go inside!" He said, his excitement clear in his voice. He wanted to go in and try everything on! Of course there was the problem of him being far to short for all of the prettiest things but so long as he could at least try on the veils to find and buy the one that he wanted then Ai would be happy.
Trailing behind to give the pair their space was Vanleia, Ai's guardian. She was watching the pair but not interfering, wanting to leave them alone to their talking and playing, though she did want to be close by when Ai decided upon things that he just had to have!

As Dorian spotted Ai smiling happily he smiled back, again mindful of his teeth. Ai just looked so completely thrilled and Dorian couldn't help thinking that Ai was cute on top of being so pretty. "It looks really wonderful, and so pretty." He turned his gaze back to the contents of the store.
He then followed the excited Ai into the store, smiling all the while. "...Hey Ai, why are all the bride's dresses white? Why aren't they all sorts of colors like the other dresses?" Dorian didn't like sounding ignorant but he had no idea, and he really wanted to know.
Dorian had noticed the woman following him. He occasionally shot her what he thought was a sneaky glance but was probably obvious to her. Knife had warned him about people following him and he stood a little closer to Ai protectively. "So which veil did you want to try on?"

He walked toward one of the closest, fluffy dresses and lifted a hand up to run his finger tips over the soft surface of the dress before looking over at Dorian, "White is a color of 'purity'." He explained, "Not exactly sure what that has to do with dresses and weddings but it seems important. I asked Vanleia a couple times but she says she will explain it to me when I am older." He wondered what was so special about it that he had to be older to understand... strange but oh well, he would figure it out one day he was sure.
"The pretty, colored dresses are for the bridesmaids... though why they get to have pretty colors and the brides only get white is something I haven't figured out yet." He murmured, seeming to think on it for a moment. He looked over at Dorian as he asked the question of him and he looked around, "I'm not sure, we should go and look at those." He started along, looking at everything that they walked by, reaching a hand out to touch the things that looked to soft to resist. He found that he rather liked the feel of the silky dresses that they walked by. That feel or velvet was nice, so was the feel of lace and ruffles... all in all he was taken by everything in the shop no matter the feel of it because it was all wedding stuff which made him instantly love it.
"Ohhh! Look, Dorian! Here they are!" He said in breathless excitement as he approached the delicate garments, reaching out to touch them though he was very careful with them as he didn't want to risk hurting them or destroying them as the materials they were made of seemed so fragile, "Oh, how lovely."
