OMG!! i LOVE JTHm!!! it is a brilliant comic that reeks with style, it's intelligent , funny, but serious too....and can't forget that awesome gore

Tay-Zay Aeria-Bethina why would you say that jhonen doesn't like Zim? In the commentaries he seems to love his creation for the most part. and JtHM isn't just psycho-talk. if you read it closely it does have a purpose. Jhonen just explains things in more brutal ways. Zim is a kids show, but don't judge jhonen as emo just 'cause he writes/draws in a more morbid style. the stuff he makes does have a purpose. i know you are just trying to inform the public. but you have no right to say that he hates the show. he wouldn't have created it if he wouldn't of liked it. Yes I agree. Johnny's purpose is to be all our inner deamons and satisfy the little homicidal maniacs in all of us. In the director's cut version, there was a forward from Rob Schrab (whoever that may be). And it said many things about Johnny's purpose and how underneath all the insanity, there is a specific meaning to the whole story. Some importand quotes would include... "Pain is a food. A food that is essential to the growth of one's soul" "There is a little monster inside all of us, a little wolf-faced monkey that needs to be sataited. As people we musn't ignore that monster. If we do, we cheat ourselves. We deny and emotion, a feeling." Then he gives a scenerio about a situation in which someone has wronged you, and you have done the deed of taking their life. "As humans, we are taught to forget that we are animals. Animals kill to survive and that is natural for us. To deny nature is to deny life. Now that you've comitted murder in your dream world, relax. Take a deep breath, give your monster a high five and put him away. You have just used an evil fantasy to keep you civilized and sane." "Johnny the Homicidal Maniac gives out monster something to chew on. Pain-food that wears it's teeth down. Johnny is a represents Jhonen Vasquez's monster. Vasquez and his fans are all stronger because of him" Also, you have no right to define what Jhonen "hates" and what he really is. It isn't your place at all and you should know what you are talking about before you make your opinion seem truth 3nodding So true, the both of you. And Tay-Zay, I was about to say the same thing, and use the Rob person too. I think Jhonen is helping us in may ways. In the comics, apart from all the sarcasm and ironical comedy he has, you can see the real world underneath the grotesc-y exterior of it all: that the world we leave in IS just like he describes it to be. And that there is a Nny needed everywhere. No, I;m not saying that there should be a psycho loose in the streets swaing cheerleader's legs off (hehe...). What I'm trying to say is that we need more opened mided people, what I believe he is trying to say is that this wrold is already doomed if we do not do anything about it And I completely agree with him. Even though close-mided people might see his show and comics as just that: Cruel, midless, violent and bloody piece of monkey manuer; we need such things to open our eyes to the insane truth: Humans are destroying the world we live in and its aorroundings...and soon enough, humans shall start in other planets, in other galaxies.... and all will be lost... and there will be no Nny to bring back reality once the facric of life desolves.... There will be no turning back after that final day arrives... Oh, i'm in my poetic mood whee sweatdrop Sorry to have ranted on endlessly.... xp But that's what I think. Oh, and... darkmariel.... when you read them all at once, in the directer's cut one, it takes for ever to get through... but then again that was becuase I kept going back to some of the parts. I don't think it's possible to read a Happy Noodle Boy and not laugh...

Gaz_Membrane mieneky the funy part is that after doing that he trys to do a kids show Accually.. It was Nickelonian that went to Jhonen. And they knew about his other works when they hired him soo.. it's really their fault... Yeah, but when Mr. Vasquez was first offered the project, he thought it would be a nifty little adventure away from his norm 3nodding He was quite excited and ended up drawing Zim, Gaz, and Dib all in one night, as well as come up with the basic storyline.

fullmeatgirl I wanna get on of the JTHM comics crying crying crying Me too. One of the really weird things that freaked my friend out was that while I was reading the summary on wikipedia, I just burst out laughing at most of the stuff written. It was really funny though! Or at least to me...

Thank you, XxMiss MurderxX for finally clearing up those grotesque spelling errors. JtHM was a masterpiece, I suggest you just get the Director's Cut. It's all the comic books, and, besides, the individual issues would be hard to find and way too much trouble.

miraiyouko JtHM kicks a**! I love how totally insane half of the story is, but then the other half is, uh... less insane. Yes. But Pepito and Chibi Satan are so cool! And I love Nailbunny, even if he is a floating head being tortured on a daily basis. Pepito is in Squee dear
