Militant Christian Illiezeulette Broken_Penguin_Man Nope. Don't like bisexuality/homosexuality. Don't understand it. Call me a bigot. Just what I believe. How does not understanding something immediately lead to not liking it? You are only a bigot if you discriminate against individuals based on their sexuality or sexual expression. Do you realize that this thread has nothing to do with bisexuality? Did you even read the first post? It confuses him, so he doesn't like it. It's not the case with everyone, of course, but that's his excuse. Thank you. Confusion is a better word than not understanding it, or even that I don't see a "why" in it. And I know that it has nothing to do with bisexuality. I'm still posting what I think of bisexuality, considering that this topic is called bisexuality. And I never noticed her speaking in middle English. I still read it normally.

Big post here boys and girls, feel free to just read your bits but be forewarned; you might miss out. gorramKayna I understand everything you say in your posts. I just don't care for what you have to say, or, more specifically, the way in which you say it. Thinking you sound arrogant and pretentious doesn't necessarily denote a lack of education or understanding. That assumption is an excellent example of my problem with you. You just sound like a jerk. And I believe you have mislabled this thread. Your purpose here isn't to continue to discuss bisexuality (and hasn't been on the other thread for a while). It's bascally you complaining that you feel like we're attacking you. I'm lovely really. Hopefully this can become a discussion thread, although yes; I did just want to clear the air but I'm not one to sulk. Raticiel I don't like it much when someone wants to show off like this, but still I find this person a valuable discutant with some knowledge. If this is a public guild, then I believe everyone has right to state their views and argue for their sake. Besides what else can you do on discussion forum? The only thing that is important is to remember that religion is a delicate matter that involves people's feelings and emotions. Of course my opinion might be not of any importance, but I believe it's better if instead of attacking each other people are attacking each other's arguments. I must say I think I rather like you. I agree of course that we should be concerned with proper argument but there seems to be some air about me that leads to a kind of hysteria, a mystery. alteregoivy Exactly. But CH1YO has done just as much name-calling as we have to her. I would be happy to discuss, and I enjoy exchanging opinions. However, CH1YO never sites any of her arguments, even when asked, and simply dismisses others' arguments as "ghastly" or "absurd." That is why I have a problem with her, and using phrases like "filthy Arabs" and claiming that they are not racists comments and implying that all Americans have no clue what literature is leaves me no choice but to call her a bigot. Not to mention her comment of mentally handicapped being "defective." Even if you agree with that statement, common courtesy asks that we don't talk in that way. I certainly don't appreciate it; my little brother is severely autistic, and I am greatly offended whenever I hear rhetoric of that ilk. Also, I have no trouble understanding people whose first language is not English, and I am very impressed with those who take the trouble to learn it. I know that it is at least in the top 5 of most difficult languages to learn. However, when people use archaic grammar and verbiage just to sound smarter or to try to make others feel dumber, it is pretentious and obnoxious. I spread it out more, it hurts when it's so concentrated. *cries* I can no more blamed for a child's mental state than I can for social inabilities; but I see no reason to use language other than which I find most apt, the handicapped are built without the tools necessary for a normal social life- they are defective thus. It is indeed good to celebrate endeavour but I see no reason to change my manner for fellow native speakers, I do not belabour my self in aught but clarification; surely I should have no such need? Zslone2 Agreed. CH1YO needs to learn some manners, I try to restrain myself from saying things that could be offense to people but I've lost my temper with her. CH1YO please just you normal everyday English like the rest of America or use British English and not the archaic British, use modern day British English. And "filthy Arabs" LIKE HOW COULD YOU SAY THAT? While I do have problems with some of their beliefs I don't go around saying crap like that. So um... Why is this thread created when the topic of Bisexuality isn't being discussed? I type as I feel comfortable and try to afford others the same right. Surely that is simply good courtesy? For the record Arabs do not have uniform belief, Bedouin are by necessity filthy. Illiezeulette Why are you so concerned about your reputation on the internet? It's all I have in life. Illiezeulette How does not understanding something immediately lead to not liking it? You are only a bigot if you discriminate against individuals based on their sexuality or sexual expression. Do you realize that this thread has nothing to do with bisexuality? Did you even read the first post? The unfamiliar is potentially dangerous and thus frightening. Bigotry is more a refusal to address prejudice with fact. It seems that it may become a discussion thread, fingers crossed guys! Militant Christian I don't have any difficulty reading the posts...but the "you are an American and as such unaware of ******** you. Your nationality doesn't make you better than me, and all that your claiming it does makes you look like an ignorant fool. If you need to speak in an outdated form of English to make yourself feel superior to others, fine. Be a pompous a**. But don't assume you're even remotely better than anyone else here simply because you're from a comparatively small set of islands. And 'ineducated'? Really? It's not a word, and it never was. The only uses I can see when doing a search on Google is to label the user of said 'word' as a Moron. Which, in your case, is perhaps the proper usage. As for the qualifications you're so proud of flaunting? You're fully qualified as the Guild Idiot, with all of the respect needed, already earned. Congratulations. I'm glad I am as clear to at least some others as I am to myself. I do find it unlikely that you have quoted my directly and in proper context- that seems most unlikely- simply put it is a simple and safe assumption that any given American encountered be a philistine. By no means was it meant to be the rule so much as the norm. I'm an openly racist nationalist, it might not by my nationality that makes me superior but I'll maintain my belief in the same. I have no need to obey my demeanour but it is a passive, to change the same would be laborious and hence undesirable. Although surely >1000 islands is a relatively large set? In a world where bouncebackability is a word but applying a simple prefix is the sign of overreaching I fear that I cannot care for any insults that may hinge on such worldly truths, too alike are they to the fool giddy with second hand wit. Broken_Penguin_Man Thank you. It is good to make such posts, it was a dream I scarcely dared foster that this thread could become more than an excuse to pour scorn upon yours truly. The complaint against my language is indeed a strange one and claims that I here speak anything other than modern English doubly so perplexing.

No, I just didn't notice. I noticed it was strange, but not abnormal. I just didn't care enough to notice the speech difference. And I don't think that the fact that she's speaking differently makes her sound smarter or like an a**, so... But you are right. I just want to argue with you, even when I agree smile . It would be like me saying that I don't understand most Eastern cultures, therefore I do not like people from Asia.
It's one thing to feel uneasy about homosexuality. We all have our personal biases and stereotypes, regardless of the fact that we know that we shouldn't. Not that I don't think that we should try to get rid of them, but it's not my business what goes on in your head. But at least understand what you're talking about before you advertise your dislike for it.

I don't understand most things i've seen and been told but I at least try to and not just say I don't like it cause I don't get it. See I understand some things about being Bisexual and Homosexual and I just don't like seeing men feeling each other up it just creeps me out but I don't hate them because they do it I just look away and walk away. You need to get out more if your reputation on the internet is all you have left in life. I mean honestly go apply to be some teacher at a college or get a boy/girl friend and do something in life other than argue with people on the internet about thing. No offense ment there but it's just something that needed to be sad by me.

When what little lucid feedback I receive is either absurd "stop pretending to be Jeffrey Chaucer" or positive "I have no difficulty reading your posts" I have little reason to see that there should be a difficulty. I know not what to do. Bouidicca What has this thread got to do with bisexuality? It is inspired by a thread of the same name from which I and the greater part of the intellectual content was excluded. Thus it was my hope first to address what was left hanging and second to permit this thread to adopt discussion of the topic, which is so sorely lacking.
