i made this thread mostly to get out the fact that the AFC NORTH rival is dying out
it used to be the ravens, steelers, bengals, and browns all putting their hatred out on the feild leading the rival teams either to a blow out game, or crushing their hearts at a last second
I realized after J. Lewis went to the browns... after Houshmanzada left the browns, after Joey Porter left the steelers, and when Flacco came into the ravens
the rival died out
btw.... post anything that has to do with a conference/division

NFC is the best Division. A lot more history and a lot better players. And out of all the NFC divisions, most all of them are some of the toughest. NFC South is no doubt the toughest Division in my opion. Not one of the teams in the NFC South have won the NFC South Title back-to-back. But, hopefully, the Panthers can change that this year.

The best division in the NFL, It's a toss up between the AFC East and North in my opinion. But I'm going to have to lean a tad more on the AFC East side.
I think you can make a good argument right now for either the Baltimore Ravens and the N.Y. Jets for currently being the best team in the NFL. The Bengals are a suprise at 3-0 after three weeks, But who would of thought that the problems of the Steelers would drag them down to a dissapointing 1-2 start? Looks like this season isn't to nice to either of the Superbowl participants from last year. And the Browns... You can arguably say they are thee worst team in the NFL right now. I know Tampa Bay, St. Louis, and Washington have their problems, but the Browns look like they pretty much gave up on Eric Mangini already.
The AFC East might not have as many 3-0 teams as the North, but the teams are overall better and more competitive. New England is struggling as Tom Brady is still working off some of the rust, but their win yesterday has the Patriots back in a strong position at 2-1. Buffalo and Miami aren't doing too well, but I think both of those teams are currently better off than the Steelers and Browns respectively. Though I just heard Chad Pennington is done for the season, that could ruin Miami's bid for another playoff run along with their 0-3 start, but they are still a tough team that has been giving their opponents a fight to the finish, just ask Indianapolis.
Every division has their strength and weaknesses, If I had to rank each division from best to worst it would probably look like this.
1. AFC East 2. AFC North 3. NFC North 4. NFC East 5. AFC South 6. NFC South 7. AFC West 8. NFC West

I don't know why I was thinking the Bengals were 3-0, my mess up. But still, they are a suprise at now 3-1.
