I hear a lot of bad things about it (well not nearly as much as when It came out though), But who here is completely digging it? In my opinion it is the spiritual sequel to IN, PCB and SD (Sequel, not successor).
It has those gut action reflexes I really love in a shooter game, with seemingly random shots at time. SA's stages were good on this, but the spell cards felt like you were moving along a memorized track, and a few gem bosses like Yugi and Orin should have been the entire cast game-play wise.
The UFO system is fun and awesome, even if you ******** up what UFO you want it gives a 1000 bonus to each point item with bomb effect for blowing that b***h in the air. I suppose this also explains all the point items.
Currently all my one CC attempts on normal are being handed back to me by there a** due to the fact bomb invincibility cancels right after if not a little bit before the bomb is over. In PCB I'd be Marisa attempting to whip Ran's a** and right after I can move again I can bail to the other side of the screen before the invincibility is up and I got too used to that crap, but for the record Marisa is just balls to the wall fast.
I love Marisa's second bomb, in fact I love all the bombs in the game, there like the definition of PWN. I like Marisa's Masterspark not being so OP and Reimu not cutting the corners of everything from her hit-box to long, slow, plentiful bombs leaving her completely mobile. I guess the deal was Reimu used to be the tool and Marisa was the cheating b***h.
