"Actually, its not silly. Its not silly at all...Its quiet nice to be comfortable enough with someone else to be able to share things with." She smiled.
"Your comment on the unknowning of your family, just....just reminded me that mine is gone. My mother, my father, my twin brother..my best friends parents..All gone." She admitted softly, her gaze soft and sad as she sighed.

His heart sank for her and he wanted to hug her, try to make her feel better like he wished someone had been there to do for him, but he kept his hooves firmly planted and simply let his head fall, looking at the ground. "It's a terrible thing to know; that your family is gone. Worse even than not knowing." His frown was deep and sympathetic as he looked back up.
"But what good would is it to mope about it?" He tried to turn the corners of his mouth up in a small smile, but it was fake, and silently he wondered if he would have flashbacks for the next few days.

She gave a light nod of her head, but she didnt say anything for a long time. Before looking up at him, she shook her head, "To me, not knowing would be much worse. Because you can have hope that they're still alive..and hope is a wonderful thing."
She nodded and gave a light smile, "I used to mope about it day and night, I couldnt get past it...but Im changing that, living my life for me, for them.."

Santos nodded and stayed quite for a long moment. He was absorbing her words. Perhaps hope was something he hadn't really spent much time on. He'd just assumed there was no way they could be alive, even if he didn't know for sure that they were, in fact, dead.
"You've given me a lot of food for thought, Charlie." He smiled at her, a small, contemplative smile. "So I think I'll let you get back to your friends." He motioned to the roses, and bowed slightly. "If it's alright, I'd like to visit you again sometime?" Somehow that sounded cheesy to him, but he was curious about her.

She gave a light nod of her head." I'd like that. It was a pleasure meeting you Santos." She bowed her head to him lightly as she smiled.
It was nice to meet someone new, and yet, so alike that she felt comfortable around him. Which, was rare for herself.
