Sorry, a bit excited right now. So we have a large band, but then we have little ensemble sections. So, I'm in the flute ensemble, and we're working on different music. It's basically trios and quartets (with like 2-3 people playing each part).

So, someone transcribed a quartet. Guess what the transcription was? The Great Guardian, aka Lugia's Song, which I'm sure you all know.

Yup, it was epic. If only we had more time to practice it...we could've performed it. crying

I love that song. adn oracion from movie 10. I also love pokemon. I actually hate movie 10, so I only watch it for oracion

I want to play one in band now! But I don't think many people wuld enjoy it as much as I would. We have a few pokemon haters in my band, as well as some who ranomly burst into the original gotta catch em all theme songXD

I love that song! I found the main motif of it in another song and I just wanted to yell out "LUGIA", unfortuantely it had no relevence to it so I just kept my mouth shut xd But it did bring back some good memories from watching the movie in 2000.

I know huh? Theres this song called Amazing Grace that I got for Symphonic Band even though I'm not in it (yet). wink On bassoon, It sounds like a bunch of random notes! lol I thought I knew the song, but, as it turns out, I didn't. 3nodding This version was by Frank Ticheli, and you can hear this composition online at manhattanbeachmusic.com! The trumpet part, er whatever it is is really pretty. I hope you get a chance to hear it and enjoi!! xp
