how do you think the broncos will play this year with the new coach and quarterback

Hopefully they will be able to live up to the new qbs and coach combinations of last year because I think they did pretty damn good for rookies.

They are rebuilding right now. They wont have an overly great season. They may max out at 8-8 this season because of the rebuilding phase, but they should do better once the team has more chemistry, once Orton understands the offense better AND the defense has learned to trust each other.

The Coach seems to know what he is doing. He was from the Patriots. I just hope he didnt pick up the Bellichek habit.

Well if he does not do well, I think they may try to get Shannahan after 3 seasons if he is still around.

I think it might be better to have a new qb if you are getting a new head coach. They can grow together and neither has preconseptions of what the other should do on the team or what the other can do from previous experience with that team.

I understand what you are saying and agree. That is why I like the fact they got Orton. Will give the team a new lease on life so to say.

And the plethora of picks they will have in the draft this upcoming year wont hurt either, 2 in the first round.

Yup. That will definitely help as long as they make smart choices instead

I almost feel as if the Broncos are in process of trading away their future. They maybe on a slippery slope to becoming one of the below grade teams. Trading away your franchise QB is almost never a good idea. This may have started with the hiring of their new coach, I don't think firing the old coach was a bad idea, but it seems like they are going down. I hope they can figure everything out and become better than last year.

No the changes with the QB will never be a good decision unless Cutler blows up, the coach can be a good decision except for the fact that the players aren't liking him, and he is changing the way the team was set up.
