 Something was off today, and she didn't know what it was. She was a little bit tired, a little stuffy, but all together she was almost feeling normal. It was weird. Out on her own and exploring in the forest again, Jayel tried to sniff out a path of rabbits to see if she could play with one. But with her nose how it was, she couldn't smell much else but her snot. Which made her shuddered sometimes.
Huffing a bit, the dirt from the ground kicked up and made her cough and sneezed quite a bit. "Uuugh!" She groaned a bit more and stomped her little puppy paws on the dirt, eyebrows knitted together. "I hate it! I can't breath! I can't smell...." What was a wolf with no sense of smell? Her ears went flat against her head and she gave out a puppy howl of annoyance.
She shuffled back onto her paws, walking a bit more, darting around little trees, clawing at the big ones. It was how she'd find her way back home since she couldn't smell anything. "I'm so bored... I wish Kazim was here... Stupid brother not coming with me.."
She walked a bit more until she came across a clearing in the woods full of tall grass and heard the trickling of water. Myrle, her mother, had told her about the waterfall her and her father went to often at night. Was this that waterfall? Laughing, she rushed towards the noise and found a small, stone waterfall with a shallow pool of water at the base. "Oooh!"

 Odd right? Uthero had wandered off, looking for another serene sanctuary. He knew Davii had extended the invitation to come to his own sanctuary but Uthero knew that all wolves wanted times to themselves. He knew Davii would just a bit also want time away from other wolves in a place called his "own". This had led him to a thicker forest.
Which was quite odd since he had thought he was by himself but he could've sworn hearing something like a cough or two. The smell of dirt was in the air, as if it were disturbed and that meant others were nearby right? It was the howl that caught his attention. It didn't sound like his family's. Theirs were deep and loud. It wasn't quite as mature as a teen's either so it must've been from a fellow puppy! Just like him right?
Uthero sighed, wondering if it was in his best interests to investigate or not. Deciding that he was better off investigating, he padded toward the sound which led him to first the sound and smell of rushing freshwater. He padded through the clearing to see a waterfall. He'd never seen one before but he'd heard of high ridges and cliffs with water rushing over them. This must be it.
He spotted the puppy who must've been the one who howled. "Hey there," Uthero called. "What are you here for?"
Uthero stopped. That was a bit rude of himself. "My name's Uthero! What's yours?"

What was she here for? That struck her as an odd thing to ask. Turning around, she spotted the other puppy and gave a friendly yip in greeting, moving closer to come face to face with him. "I'm Jayel! And I'm here 'cause momma and daddy told me I could come here." She puffed out her chest a bit and gave him a toothy grin, obviously not telling the whole truth.
"They said they liked it here, and that this was my place. Mine and my siblings. They haven't seen it yet, 'cause they stick closer to the den." She said with a sagely nod, as if he knew all about that.
"Where'd you come from, anyway? You don't look like you're from here. Are you from a pack?!" Before she could get to excited, Jayel released a few rapid fire sneezes and groaned, laying down and placing a paw on her nose out of embarrassment. She'd forgotten for a minute that she couldn't breath without sneezing today. That's what it seemed like anyway.

Uthero paused and sighed. Her parents' area? He'd not seen a wolf of her pelt color before. That must mean he was pretty far from the safe... nice den..
Uthero paused as he watched and listened to the poor girl sneeze as she came closer to him. He moved back a bit so she wouldn't do it on him. He tilted his head at her as she lay down and lay down next to her. Why not right?
He laid his paw on her shoulder, "Are you all right? You don't sound so good.
"Well I dunno. I kinda just wandered over here. I'm from the Akiiki Chibale pack."

She sniffled a bit as he spoke, but nodded her head. Of course Jayel was fine! The puppy wasn't sick or anything, oh, no! She just has allergies. "My nose doesn't like pollen or flowers, really.." She said with a nod, her voice sounding funny because she was speaking through it.
"Oh, cool! You are from a pack..." She looked envious at him and then moved to flop over in front of him, on her back, pawing at his chin. "I met someone from a pack. Don't remember the name of it. Well, I met several someones! Is your pack a good one? Do they fight evil and run out humans?" Her mother told her of a wolf who'd saved another from humans. Jayel wanted to meet that wolf one day.
