--;Yes.

I never finish writing, though.
Don't have the patience, don't have the will.
Just can't really be bothered.

I used to write for fun, but then I got a job. Now I have to write reports and emails and all that stuff, and by the end of the day, I don't have much writing juice left for any of the fun stuff. cry

I roleplay a bit (my boyfriend and I have a medieval/fantasy RP that we've been working on since January or so), and I've written some (not very good) poetry, but that's about it. I don't feel that I actually have any writing talent, but sometimes writing just pops out of my brain and I can't really do much about it but write it down and see what happens.

Very good question biggrin

I do write a lot for fun. Unforunatly, I also do a lot of writing because I have to, which means I can't always write for fun. But if I do, I mostly roleplay and write short stories smile

As a somewhat related note, would anyone mind if I'd post (a) short story/stories on the Guild forums?

I write stories and poems/songs. Currently one of the stories I'm working on is being written by my friend and I (Black Circe on Gaia). We started it in Grade 9 Science as a pass along story and it just keeps growing. It's 71 typed pages now. We didn't write any of it last year but it's been revived. biggrin

I like writing essays for my literature class, but I don't really enjoy writing otherwise.
Frock secretly writes poems in her spare time. ;o

Not in a while. I'm very rarely proud of what I write even if I enjoyed writing it. Mostly because it tends to just go on and on without much of an ending.

Hum... I don't really write for myself often... But I do read far too much, and I've started writing my life in my journal... mostly to improve my english, and in case someone ever notices what an interesting human I am, and starts reading my life razz

The same thing for me. I'm taking my school diary back to Carlisle for a select few to read. : D

I write sometimes for no reason. (Well, other than boredom)
Just creative writing though.. biggrin

I write both fanfic and original stories, as well as poetry (both rhyming and freestyle, and of varying lengths), plays (which I haven't written much of lately) and other random things. I write lyrics a lot too, seeing as I compose music a lot and need words to fit. I also enjoy writing non-fictional work, such as essays, articles and reviews. So yeah, I suppose I do write a little...

I write... letters. for enjoyment.
letters to my friends in far-off places and even the ones next door..
...I'm not talking about emails though, I send real letters.. postage is killer, but oh so worth it xd

I really like writing snail mail, too. Some of my friends think I'm crazy, and the people I write to (some friends from far away and my family) hardly ever write back, but it's definitely worth it to put something personal into mail that you're sending someone.

I love to write, but I never finish anything but poetry. I try writing stories, but I usually get half way through them and never finish. While it's not really writing, role playing is a good way to come up with ideas for stories.
