Found this on another rp board I frequent.
The first person posts a question. The next person answers the question as their characters would, using as many as they want, and posts a new question. And so on.
The questions can be silly or serious.
What's your favorite holiday?

"I like them all!" Jack grinned, swinging his legs cheerfully over the side of the chair.
"Be serious and pick one."
"Hmph. Fine." He pouted at Guyy. "I suppose... Christmas! What about you?"
"Bonfire Night." Guyy nodded.
"They don't have that here, I think."
"All right. Halloween then."
"What's a holiday?"
"That doesn't count as a question. Go on Jack, you ask one."
"Um. What's your favourite movie?"

Jonathan looked at Jack with a slight frown. "Movie huh?" He questioned with a bit of a surprise. He knew he was in for a few surprises by participating in this but it was strange to realise that the simplest of questions was already a surprise. He hadn't really seen that much movies in his lifetime, just a few here and there. After giving it a bit more consideration he finally answered. "I guess that would be Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind." He though for a moment longer and nodded, "yup, that's the one."
Now for a question to ask, what would it be? What would he want to know of them? He didn't know himself and he didn't have any real interests, well, he had always been curious about different societies, how they worked and what the people thought about them. "What has to change to make your own society a better place?"

The grey haired girl sitting in a chair next to Jonathan merely rolls her eyes. "Gaian society? They need to learn to get along better."
The hippogryph curled up on the floor nearby seems a good bit more excited, her feathered wings rustling around. I guess we shouldn't be so isolated. Other people aren't so bad. She clicked her talons against the floor as she thought, then finally let out a satisfied chirp. I've got one. If you could be a mythological animal, which one would you want to be?

Gabe sat not too far from the hippogryph, looking a bit nervous as usual. What mythological animal would he want to be, he smiled.
"I want to be a Púca......."
He said, and then blushed, trying to think of a question.
"Oh I got one! If you could be any mythical hero......who would you be?"
He asked, smiling.

Emma Jane sat around with her headphones turned down low and just listened to everyone else chit chat. She didn't participate in these sorts of games since she didn't talk very much.
