Why do you say Westbrook is the best in the league right now? I do coonsider him to be the best all around RB in the league, but best RB? That is hard to just single him as the best. He might be this year with the upgrades and him being 100% healthy, but that is a stretch at the moment. In my truest humble opinion.

LOL. Ok. wont argue. Just saying my thoughts is all. Now try to explain that to everyone else.

What blasphemy? He did have a good point and it is clear cut and dry. There is NO other RB in the league who can do every single position as good as or better the Westbrook. There are a couple up and comers who can do that, but none who can do that yet. If you want to define a RB by what he does rushing, then right now AP is the best. But if you define a RB for this day in age, he has to be able to recieve, rush, block, pass, return punts and kicks. That all goes to Westbrook right now. So he is correct on that. But not too much longer I am afraid. Sproles from SD and Choice from Dallas are going to get real good over the next 4 years.

Westbrook is considered by EVERY scout and team and player to be one of the best blockers in the league against everyone. You are obviously going by what other people that do not like him are say. You must watch him and how he plays before you can say anything like that. He is one of the reason's why Philly is as good as it is. Also he is one of the most asked about players for trades out of any team. Last I checked a team had already put an offer for 2 first round draft picks and a player to trade for Westbrook a few years back.

Watch his games. He is not called one of the best blockers in the game for nothing. He has stood up and even pancaked a few defensive linemen and DE's a few times in his career. He is an excellent blocker in not just the bump and go, but blocking all together. I remember a few times he had shut down Peppers or Osi or some of the best when they get close enough. The guy is just that good. If he were not 5'8" (real height, I know, I have seen his college stats in programs and actually stood near him) and he were like 3 or 4 inches taller he would be considered by everyone to be the best RB in the league ever if he also did the stuff he does now. Problem is he had a few unlucky injuries over the years and does not get the handoffs like most others get. Yet he is still considered by many to be the most dangerous RB in the league.

You do not have to gameplan against certain individuals almost ever. Dont have to for AP or LT or TO or R. MOSS half the time. Westbrook is the first guy that any opposing coach will say that they will have to gameplan against first among any player in the league. Just because he WILL hurt you in more ways than any other RB will. He runs precise routs like some of the best recievers, he rushes as good as any RB in the league and blocks almost as good as some of the better linemen in the league. On top of that he is also able to throw almost anywhere on the field and has done that along with passing for some TD's in his career anyways. And he is only 30. Not too old yet.

HELL NO HE NOT... he fumbles to much.... gets injured easily... he only has high statz bcuz the vikings hav no pass game so they depend on the run 24/7.
