http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/political_commentary/commentary_by_debra_j_saunders/s_f_students_earn_their_stripes San Francisco isint finnisshed taking out its dissangremants with the millatary on the students in JROTC. After voting to remove it The angery STUDENTS protested and got it back, later that same night they voted to fire all the intructers, and now they are trying to remove the P.E. Credit you can get from the class so students caoulent fit it into their scheduals.

I've never been to fond of San Francisco but this is the one issue that makes me nearly hate the city.

Hate the school board, not the city. The school board is the one to blame, in that entire article, there was not one mention of the people who live in San Fransisco actually counter protesting to keep JROTC out. It's kinda a weird thing to do, but it will get fixed. So don't hate an entire city for the actions of an idiotic school board.

Plus they could be my local school board, they argued they needed an eighth member to break ties. I have no idea how they were tied with an odd number of people but hey, no one said logic mattered in education.

besides that when I was there everything I wanted to see was either closed or booked for weeks so I was already not to font fond of the place then this happend. its one thing if its just the school board but after most the people lost re-election the new people VOTED in ended up sharing the same agenda wich in my mind gives partial blame to those of San Francisco Unified School District 18 and older

Wait you disliked it because things were closed? Shall the entire world always be open for you?

no that just didint help, the list goes on of why I dont particulary do not care for the city. here are some of the top the top
1. THEY ELECT religiously Pelosie who recently in congress has thought that releasing dangerous photos was importatant enough to try and stall the crucial funding for our soldiers.
2.they refuse to allow the battleship Iowa a symbol of american sea power during world war 2 to be memorialized in the harbor simply because they dont like a millitary policy. so now the name sake of my home state ruts in a mothball fleet.
3. (im not saying everyone there does) it is the location of mindless protests and rallies ( To defend my mindless statement, someone went to an envrimental rally and got thousands to sing a petition to ban the chemical DiHydrogen Monoxide later mentioning it was just water)
4. (Not everyone there but enough) againts the death penalty but for abortion
5. (not everyone but enough) against smoking cigerettes but overwelmingly support legalizing marijuana

the city itself is nice I love the buildings and the history but as long as they continue to elect radicals, as long as they go after a childrens school program to go protest the millitary I'll continue to dislike the city

1. You mean finishing th military budget? Which gets stalled every singl year?
2. You do realize they have other WW2 battle ships on display though, right? Trust me, I walked on a few and they keep them in as good of shape as the can without destroying the historical accuracy
3. People have done that same thing to people about women suffrage. People will protest anything if it sounds bad, liberal or conservative.
4. So people are against killing a person but are for choice? Hmm so horrid. I doubt you could actually find a case where a woman had her baby ripped out of her against her will and it was called an abortion.
5. Yes because the legalization of marijuana could be taxed and bring in about $1 billion every year in just California alone

Frankly the are just as radical as northern California, but the northern part is conservative. Yet you don't see anyone complaining about how we should fix northern California, do you?

SF is a Liberal hotspot, and sadly, Liberals are not immune to abusing their power out of a half-thought through vendetta against the military as a symbol of conservative political philosophy. People like this are retareded, we can only hope that rational minds will eventually prevail before they screw up too many peoples' lives.
