Without a strategy guide for Link's Awakening it's not easy. I played it when I was young too and only got through the 3rd temple and up to the castle. I
just beat it last month and I still needed a strategy guide for the Face Shrine. WTF about bombing random walls to find the entrance?! Sorry if I think it is almost impossible to beat it without help and call it easy (you and your brother probably helped each other too I'm sure). But you can't play that game and say it's easy. I'm telling you.
Heck, I'm sure you haven't played it in a while. Go right now and try and beat it and call it easy.
Dangerous waters? @___@
Ho man I'm on the Arbiter's Ground temple in TP. I love this one. <3 But freakin' a was the water temple tough.
You know, the game tells you to check walls with your sword to see if they're breakable. Hell, there's even a little sound the game makes for breakable walls.
I bet I could go beat that game on hard if it had a hard mode because it's so easy and simple. I kid you not when I say I've beaten that game about five times. I recall as well, when I was about five years old...I got to the Special area in Super Mario World. Couldn't even beat the second level, because it was so difficult. Now I can, and have beaten it (Also note, I can and have gotten to Bowser's Castle and beaten the game in approx. 30 minutes).
I'm not necessarily bragging or trying to insult you here...but you're far from what I would consider to be a "real gamer"...what most would consider to be a real gamer, really. Not sure what your definition of a "real gamer" is, but for me...I'd have to say someone that embraces videogames, not the systems they're on. Then they become a "fanboy" or "fangirl", and no one likes either. To take things a step further, I guess I could be classified as a "hardcore gamer" since I own multiple gaming platforms, in particular a gaming PC (and gaming laptop).
And that is why I said you were treading dangerous waters.
