Stafford may be the slightly better QB at the moment, but Sanchez will see more immediate success. Mark Sanchez is going to the Jets, where they have a good offensive line, good rushing attack, solid wide receivers, and a good defense.
Do not forget that the team he is going to will have more winning experience as well. That does translate very successfully to many QB's when they come in.
