If LT would leave the Chargers, would you want your team to take him?

  Nah, we'll be fine.

Yupp, thats why LT thrived for as long as he did, because he had the 2nd best fullback in the NFL. if i were the Chargers, I would be trying to get Neal back from the Ravens.
But blocking isn't the biggest reason why LT has been hindered, he has the skill-set too make it with the moderate blocking of Hester.

Yes it is! LT is amazing, but part of the reason he was SO amazing si because of Lorenzo Neal, who is no longer a Raven, he is a free agent. If the Chargers were smart, they would sign him to a one year deal, and see fi things go better with LT, I know that he would be back to his amazing form, espically since he will be entirely healthy.

Neal and Richardson are both free agent FBs, that are great run blockers. Picking up either will bring back the performance of the old Tomlinson.

...Anyways, I question the Chargers' head office. Ever since they fired Schottenheimer, their running game hasn't been the same.

Seriously, I still question firing Mary till this day, don't get me wrong i love how far we've gotten and all, but I think that it was not Marty's time yet.

And I think we should def. get Neal back.

Hester is more like a RB, so the Chargers should definitely look into getting Neal.

Anyways, the Chargers were a much better rushing team with Shotty. Although their passing game improved drastically, but that's probably just Rivers maturing. At least they got a bit farther into the playoffs under Norv...

He's only entering his ninth season in the NFL. He still has a lot left in the tank, but I think he stated a few times that he wants to retire young and healthy.

He has stated that a couple of times. And then with the Chargers still trying to alter his contract to be giving less money, he may really do just that now.

Well he'll officially stay a Charger and re-do his contract. It's just making sure that he makes more than Sproles. They will go more by RBBC for their rushing attack, and it should work pretty well. But I still think that a healthy Tomlinson is better than Sproles, and he'll remain with the team for the rest of his career.

LT leaving the chargers won't be so bad.
As long as there is Vincent Jackson and Rivers , I will be fine.

No way. Tomlinson is the center of the Chargers' offense. When he's healthy and in a good mindset, he's probably the best RB in the NFL. This future Hall of Famer recently got injured, and now it really annoys me how people are questioning him. Who would think that he'd be underrated at this point in his career?

...Anyways, Vincent Jackson isn't even the best receiving target on San Diego. Antonio Gates and Chris Chambers are more valuable, and Darren Sproles is getting more looks on screens.

Getting Ron Rivera to be their D Coach was a great move on their part

Yep. He's probably in that new wave of coordinators soon to be head coaches.

well in my opinion although Lt is still pretty young hes already lost his game he isn't as fast as he used to be so i say he should plain and siply retire, last season he didn't rush for a lot of yards cmpared to his rookie year, and i know its been awhile since anyone has posted in this topic.

But he also had a tendon problem in his groin and other injury issues. Just to let you know. He is still good, he just needs to have what he has now. A guy who can share the workload.

Tomlinson is still among the best RBs in the NFL. Not only is he a sure Hall of Famer, but he can still carry a team. He's had some injury problems in the near past, and his offensive line hasn't done as well as it used to. He showed signs of success, but should still do fine next season. He already stated that he wants to retire early to keep his health, but he can still play at an extremely high level.

Yeah, but he may be able to retire a bit later with keeping his health with Sproles on the commitee with him.
