Wowzerz, I can't believe it. Although has been in due for the last couple of years with MJD ready and willing to become the Jags next feature running back. Last year his number did however decrease from the usual caliber of what we're used to, but it was most due to a injury-riddled offensive line, not to mention splitting time with Jones-Drew. What do you guys think about this and how do you think it will affect this Jaguar team that has been needing a jump start.

Wow, the jags were bad with him, do they think getting rid of him will help?
This was a totally bad move for Jacksonville. Taylor is going to be a great pick up for a team like The Cleveland Browns, Teh Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Denver Broncos or even somebody like the New England Patriots.
Its sad to see teams release guys who have put an entire career into just one team. Hes nowhere near out of gas.
Sucks for the Jags, Fred Taylor is going to have a great season and their going to kick themselves in the a**, espically is MJD gets hurt.

I didnt say he had to be a back-up Denver has NO RB, He coudl Start for the Patriots. Cleveland and Tampa would be no gaurentee for a starting job but im sur he would contend for it

Seattle needs a skilled running back badly and I think Taylor could be the man to do it.

San Francisco has Gore starting. If Taylor is gonna be a backup, he's not going there I think.

It was surprising to see one of the best RB duos to get broken up, but I guess that the Jaguars want to commit to MJD.
It will be easy for Fred Taylor to find a new team. He is still effective, and a smart veteran rusher.
