On the edge of a bustling city stands a five story tavern named the Golden Axe Inn. This is a major hub where the locals often meet for a night of entertainment and a home brewed beer, or many other alcoholic beverages.

As you enter the front door you walk through a well lit hallway towards a desk that is facing you where the innkeeper greets his guests. To the left is the stairs that lead up to the guestrooms and to the right is a large common room often filled with live music or entertainment and a large bar full of beautiful young maidens waiting to take your order.

Okay guys, here's the challenge for this roleplay. You can create any type of mythical creature, either those that are commonly used in the fantasy worlds or one of your own. NO HUMANS! You can create more than one character if you wish.

Please post your character profile in the OOC forum that will be in the same subforum. After posting the profile you may begin posting right away, no need to wait for approval.

Selkwyn lay curled up on the bar sipping some patrons drink. When the customer started to complain the innkeeper shouted "What would you curse my tavern with bad luck and misfortune. Selkwyn here has honored you with good fortune and you turn your back on him."
The customer stood there in a daze. Selkwyn had stung him while the Innkeep kept him busy. He would see some strange things and then promptly by another drink when he returned to reason. Elves always did have a weak constitution.

Selvyn walked in calmly, with an undeniable aura of self-confidence. He dropped a handfull of gold coins on the front desk, "That should cover my stay." He then walked into the common room. His green, peircing eyes scanned the room. Seeing Selkwyn, Selvyn walked smoothly to the dragon's table. He lightly took a serving woman, whispering in her ear with a smile, and pushing two silver coins into her hand. She blushed slightly, then went to the kitchens. Selvyn then turned to the dragon. His eyes dimly lit for a moment. "Greetings, my small master dragon," He said in Selkwyn's language, "so, you are called Selkwyn?"

Two of Centials blades struck the back of an ogre who thought he could skip his tab. Walking up to the fallen creature he noted that his accuracy had been better than intended and instead of merely wounding the creature, he had killed it. Searching through his pockets he found twice as much gold as would have covered his tab.

"Hmm... what a shame he had to die for this." Cential shrugged and drug the man around the back corner, where the guards would eventually haul him away from. It was not too often that customers wound up in this fate, though it would not surprise many either, which was evident by the fact that few customers even paid any attention.

Walking back into the bar Cential smiled noticing Selkwyn sitting at a table. Walking to the bar he ordered two shots from his father and sat at the pint dragons table. "A drink Selkwyn?" He asked as he set one of the shots in front of the small dragon. Quickly he threw back his shot and then pulled out his pipe and loaded the green cannabis flowers into it, tapping his talons together to get enough spark to light it.

Selvyn looked at the man. "Well, then he has two drinks coming." His eyes danced to each of the man's knives. "I assume you have the same profession as myself...or at least used to." He leaned back, his cloak falling away to reveal his strange, curved sword. The serving woman eyed the sword, but gave Selvyn two mugs of ale with a smile. Selvyn handed one of these to the Pint Dragon.

Selkwyn took in the drinks quickly looking around the bar. No one else was in earshot. "Hello, Cential and to you Selvyn...your endevours in enlarge my waist line are most appreciated for as we all know a fat pint dragon means a wealthy Innkeeper...do we not."

Selvyn laughed, "I had heard. Your kind are not as common where I come from though. We have few taverns, for they are hard to move."

"As I have heard but please, tell me of lands. I don't travel much and though I have heard the food is incredibly sweet." Selkwyn perked up a little in anticipation. He, unlike many of his kind, actually enjoyed listening to travelers tales. He secretly would imagine himself on adventures though why anyone would travel that far from a ready source of food was still beyond his grasp.

Selvyn smiled, "I can do more than tell..." His eyes began glowing, as he temporarily linked their minds, showing what he was telling. "Our land is harsh; dry. We wander from place to place. We enjoy sweet meats, and sweet fruit juices. What we enjoy most, though, is water. There are many animals that few even dream of. There are also massive blue dragons, who spend half of their time buried in the sand, and the other half flying in the sky, hiding their color as they hunt. You would find our alchohols most enjoyable. Though, for many here, they would find them far to strong." He severed the mind link. "Beyond that, we have only honor."

Cential perked up at Selvyns mention of alcohols. "You know my elven friend, my father pays quite handsomely for any spirits from distant lands, and even more handsomely for a constant large supply, say a wagon load's worth, to be delivered here. Even if strong it could draw quite a few connoisseurs of wines and the likes into a bar on a cold winters night or a warm summer evening."

Cential looked towards the pint dragon, while he continued to puff on his pipe. "You know I will bring you free drink, but you must pay for my fathers food or convince another man to make you fat. I suppose my stories of my travels have grown old by now, eh?"

Selvyn leaned back, sighing. "What you...imply...may be more difficult than you believe. My kind...well, psions I mean...are not at all liked by other races. We tend to act as we please some times. Still, I will do what I can, short of dominating their minds."
