Nyu-kun My biggest surprise drop was Rey Maualuga... 2nd rounder. D= Yep, mine too. I really wanted the Giants to select him at #29. After we passed and got Nicks, Maualuga dropped even further, so it would have made great sense to trade up a few spots in the second round to get him.

Dude-LAP Austin Shipp this draft is wickedly deep in OTs and DE/LBs, theres like 5 OT that could go in the top 10 and the same thing for DE/LB With the star-player hungry Lions and Raiders picking in the top 10, I don't think that either will pick an OL in the first round... LOL. That is so true. LOL. Well at least Lions made a move in the right direction drafting Stafford and Pettigrew. They have drafted two players who will learn to like themselves and grow together

They have drafted two players who will learn to like themselves and grow together I guess. But Stafford will be on the ground a lot. He actually has some good weapons from offensive skill positions, but the Lions have a terrible offensive line. Matthew Stafford was a pretty good pick, because he is a need. I would have picked up an OL like Oher at #20, and then a LB like Laurinaitis or Maualuga at #33. They drafted Pettrigrew and Delmas, respectively, instead. Both are good, but similar players could have been taken a bit later on. TE was deep in this Draft, and S/CB was alright.

Brandon Pettigrew is supposed to be an amazing blocker as well as pass catcher so they might just use him mainly as a blocking tight end.

He is, but he lacks speed and is only good for the Red Zone overall. But he will get you out of some jams when needed. Hope he does well in the NFL. He has the talent to do that

If not, then they just would have drafted an offensive lineman (which I think they should have done).
