Speaking of a salary cap....

My mother said that she heard that the Patriots are getting an increase in their salary cap so that they can sign on Matt Cassel.

My mother said that she heard that the Patriots are getting an increase in their salary cap so that they can sign on Matt Cassel.

Maybe she was talking about salary space or salary room. Because every team in the NFL has the same salaray cap, which is limited at a certain number.

...Anyways, the Patriots are probably going to use a franchise tag on Matt Cassel.

So that means that the Cassel will get a big pay day in the near future. Either the Patriots will have to commit to him, or he'll have to get traded.
