Name: Sintair Kantoor
Age: Looks as if he is in his young twenties, but is in his mid to late thirties
Position: Ashaman; member of the Black Haran Din (The Beast tamer Hand of Brothers)
Appearance: Sintair has light blue eyes that almost appear white in direct sunlight. His hair is a curly black that hangs just below his shoulders and held out of his face with a plain white bandana. He wears an elegant black coat lined in fur and very baggy pants (also lined in fur), as well as black fur boots and fur gauntlets. He has a tattoo over both eyes where a black bar about a centimeter wide extends two inches above and below each eye and comes to a point. Between the beginning of the agelessness that comes from wielding the power and the tattoos over his eyes, many citizens find it hard to look him in the eye. He carries only two weapons, a self-made longbow and a medium length katana with a cuendillar blade that had been made for him by an Aes Sedai.
Likes: Animals (hence the reason he became a Beast Tamer), Hunting and scavenging to provide for himself, books.
Dislikes: Fighting, The White Tower (though not Aes Sedai, just being around so many women who can control the power gives him the nonstop tingling that he can never get used to), The Gold Haran Din, the idea that money rules over people.
About: Originally from the Island of Demir, Sintair grew up on a small ranch. He always loved the animals that could be found in the woods that surrounded his small home. Though he had learned to hunt as well, when he did this every part of the animal was used, and the heart was burried in the ground with a prayer to the Creator in thanks for blessing him with the food he ate. It was on a visit to neighboring Andor when he ran into a person who would become a lifelong friend, and her name was Branwen Northwind. He had come across a horse on the edge of town that had been left for dead. The animal was in a terribly weak condition and appeared to have a few broken bones. It's heart was beating, but the pulse was slow and the air it breathed was faint. Shortly after he had examined the horse a young girl had come running up to it with a sorrowful look in her eyes. He looked at the girl and frowned... and then something happened. The horse began to stand up and regain its breath as if it had never been winded. In a matter of seconds it took off down the path at a full trot. Neither of them had known it, but they had both used the power to heal the animal, and their love for the creature was what had driven that power out of them. From there on he had become one of her best friends, even writing to each other as they both trained in their respected towers.

Weapons of choice:
Ashandarei, and knives for close quarters.

Appearance:
5'9" tall, Red hair worn loose, Brightly colored clothes though usually of matching or complamentary colors( not eye wrenching like a tinker) and tall riding boots at all times.

Attitude:
Joker when things are calm, Dead calm when it is time to fight. When practicing he seems to really enjoy the combat though not the violence of it. He appreciates the art of motion and the battle of wills when his opponent is really putting effort into it. Unless he is fighting for real you almost never see him without a smile.

History: Joined Army at age 15. At 16 he was station in the Misty Mountains as bands of Raiders had taken up hiding out there. By the age of 18 he had fought many skirmishes in difficult terrain when and had been promoted twice. He discovered at this time that the other Soldiers with him couldn't smell the enemy ands his unit always seemed to find them first and had never been ambushed. After the army discovered this they gave him his third promotion and tranfered him to special operations which took him outside of Manathera. By age 21 he was promoted to sargeant and trained in the Ashendarei as well as all known weapon types. His preference in the Ashandarei was prevelant though skilled in other weopons aside from knives it was the Ashendarei that made him a match for most. He was never tested for master with the Ashendarei but those that knew him considered him one. At age 23 his Current time up in the army he decides to go to the White Tower in order to learn more of the sword and the way of the Warder.
Special notes of interest:
He is one of only 200 men allowed to use the Ashendarei (Sword Spear) having proven himself with pike and spear first.
(and if you'll allow it a Sniffer Old blood still runs deep in Manatheran)

I agree. Remember though, Warders are expected to become masters of the sword. Still, I do like your character's chosen weapon.
