The AFC is much more interesting now that the Jets have dropped another game to a weak team. Will the Patriots bounce back and win the division. Will the Jets stop stalling and pull up to win the next three? Or will the Phins shoot out and go from worst to first in one year?
With the the Jets defense falling off and more importantly unable to pass at all, the leaders are ripe for the taking.
PS; Favre still sucks. I almost trusted him, but now he can't seem to even not lose games.

The AFC East is one again up for grabs. The Jets blew their seemingly large two-game lead, and now the top three teams are 8-5. Any team could win, and it'll really come down to the stretch. I'll break it down by teams.
The Buffalo Bills are just about out of the race.
The Dolphins are the hottest team in this division, and look pretty balanced. They are playing some really good defense, and Pennington is a solid QB and leader for the team. The running game isn't as explosive as it was during the beginning of the season, but still a threat. They have an easy next two games (against 49ers and Chiefs), then play the Jets, which could control their fate. The Dolphins could very well win this division, but the lack of some veteran leadership may hurt the team. Great turnaround from last year, to say the least.
The Jets are hot and cold at the same time. Win improbable games, and lose games that they should have won handedly. I think that the coaching is to blame, because their defense is great, and they have depth and skill on the offense. They also have a fairly easy end of the season schedule, against the Bills, and Seahawks, and then face the Dolphins. Don't call any of these games wins yet, because look at some of the other games they dropped...Niners, Raiders, Broncos, Chargers...
The Patriots have the best coach in the NFL, and could sneak in as the AFC East winner. They should be able to win at Oakland next week, but have a very tough game against the Cardinals in two weeks. Arizona plays horrible on the east coast though, so the Patriots have a good chance at winning that one. Cassel is emerging as a great backup, and their defense is solid. The only thing that may cost them from another division title is the lack of using the run game effectively.

The great Brett Favre has once again failed to produce anything. What is the point of playing ******** quater back if you aren't going to produce anything but interception. Yeah when Favre doesn't need to win he is great in the QB slot, but when we do need him to complete a pass he is a complete failure. I hope this escapade is over now, and he ca sit his washed up useless a** down and retire this year. Don't bring this curse back. It's not his fualt, he is addicted to football, it's our fault for letting him play. Learn a lesson Jets and move on to the rookies.
Go Dolphins crush the Jets with a real quaterback and go to the playoffs. Make them pay for disrespecting Pennington by replacing him with this garbage. Don't let the Patriots back into a win!

Not what killed the Jets wasn't Farve watching the game it was bad coaching decisions that ruined their team. Like not kicking a FG and punting it WTF

Perhaps its the Quarter back who constantly chokes in the clutch. He has yet to win a game where our defense has played bad. He is supported by the team not the other way around. A quarter back has to lead. It was first quarter and we got down the feild easy. You kick the feild goal in the 1st always. Favre doesn't do it in the clutch ever.
Just look at the god damned interceptions he threw. Yeah people dropped some balls, but they shouldn't have been in the situation where the drops were that large.

Wow, the Jets truly suck. They honestly don't deserve to make the playoffs. They have all the right players, but can't seem to tie it down when it matters. Fire Mangini already...
...But what great stories for the Patriots and Dolphins. New England lost Tom Brady in the first game of the season, and manage to stay contenders, at the top of their game. The Dolphins erase a 1-15 mark last season, to become a good team. If either of these two teams make the playoffs, they will sure be underdog fan-favorites.

I'm a Pats fan, but there's no denying that the Dolphins deserve the title of AFC East this year, I figure I'll be rooting for em come the post season - They have potential to surprise people! (Wildcat, lol!)

I personally want to see the Dolphins make the playoffs and go far. But I see the Patriots beating the Bills next week. And either the Jets or Dolphins could win their head to head matchup, but I have to go with the red-hot Miami Dolphins.
