((Sorry!! sweatdrop ))
"Alright then," Eva said, "I guess we should get going...?" she said in a tone that was more of a question than a statement. "Oh, thank you," she said as she looked at Morilineth and took the bread that was offered to her. She did feel a bit awkward around such recognized men, and she was definitely out of place. It was uncharacteristic of her to accept invitations from anyone, yet somehow, she couldn't help herself. Maybe it was her curiosity; she wanted to get a glimpse of what the nobles' lives were like. Maybe it was something else. But Eva found herself walking toward the path that was suggested to her by Arya.

"Ah, thank you friend." Kaspin took a small piece. He ate it gratefully and took began tapping his cane against various gates, trees, and path bricks on the route.
"Since it is the closest to Sceptra skies, I assume you anchored at the eastern dock?" Arya asked.

"Ummmmm....." Eva said, looking up into the sky. "Yes, I'd, um, say that's about right..." the phrase that Eva spoke, despite being a statement, sounded as though it should be punctuated with a question mark. In all reality, Eva had no earthly idea where her ship was docked. She didn't know of an eastern dock, nor of any other dock that was named after a part of a compass. She lifted her hand and scratched the back of her head while avoiding direct eye contact. She took another bite of the bread and then grinned.

"I see, then lets make a turn down here." Arya, carefel to make sure they were alone. He made a signal to Kaspin the halt the group, then signaled it was clear and started going onward.
Kaspin recieved the signales and told them what to do. "Move with speed and guile" Kaspin ran lightly down the path behind Arya who was checking every area of the street. The docks were nearing them.

"Why do we have to go fast?" Eva inquired. "I didn't know there was a particular rush. Are we running from something? Or rather... keeping something or someone from finding us...?" Despite her words, Eva quickened her pace as she saw that the "old man" was keeping up with them.

Close behind the group was Morilineth who was listening to the conversation but keeping watch with peripheral vision to make sure no one was following them. His eyes were in their corners but he was paying close attention to everything being spoken. Although he had the answer to Eva's question, he awaited Arya to explain it. He was soon almost next to Eva when he heard more being spoken.

Arya took off ahead, knowing it was all clear. He came to the dock, with a lone air ship roped to a weight. Arya looked at the ship's flight crystal. "This gem is very old, does it still work? Well besides that, I'll answer your question. They will no doubt send another unit in to scout this area since the one Kaspin took out has not responded. I made sure of this security myself." Arya explained pulling the boat closer to the dock and grabbing onto a rope netting and climbed up. He beckoned for the others to follow.

Eva hopped into the ship. "Of course it works!" she responded with a slight snap to her voice, when asked about her crystal. "So... we're basically running away?" she said after she climbed the deck and over to the steering wheel. She snickered under her breath. "I mean, that's probably normal for me... but you two are nobles aren't ya? That would be considered kinda weird by your standards right?" she said with a mischievous smile.

"Running away is all we can do if we wish to move forward to the greater future. As men of the state we must know when to act and when to leave. It is this such boldness that has supported our government for so long." Arya said quickly in response. "Though I Fear we made need more if we wish to protect it further. If the imperials are so focused on the elimination of thieving settlers then I fail to ignore that we are collapsing. "So to answer your question plainly, we are running away." Arya grabbed a rope and let down a sail. He secured various parts of the ship and made sure everyone got on board. "I trust you can man the wheel, Eva."

"Of course!" Eva said, with a slight bite in her voice. She didn't like the concept of people telling her where to go, especially on her ship. She walked over to the wheel and placed her hands on it, ready to steer away. "Is he on?" Eva asked, looking for the Morilineth. She looked around 360 degrees, even after she saw him getting on the ship. As she whipped around, surveying the sky and the winds, she saw three specks in the distance. They weren't huge, but they were casting pinprick shadows onto the clouds. "Damn, we've waited too long," Eva said, steering the boat away from land. "Those are most likely enemy ships, over there," she mentioned, pointing in the direction of the three dots. "They're far away, but if they're enemy ships, they probably have weapons as well... like guns."

((Alright, I really need to make a comeback role play post, so prepare for tacos and take a deep breath.))
Morilineth jumped aboard and awaited Eva's steering from the dock. Thoughts, many peculiar, crossed his mind. In fading light stars were what were seen by Morilineth in the sky. Things were occurring so quickly, he had barely time to let the beginning be detailed in his mind before the latest event. So as he wandered aimlessly around the ship looking for a seat, he kept his nose in his book as he pondered every detail of the "catastrophe". Finally his legs bumped into a wooden seat and he promptly planted himself between its arm rests. As the vessel grew farther from the shores of the island, Morilineth saw the specks of guards shouting and cursing at the escape of the group. Then, as he turned his head around, he saw the three noticed ships, though they seemed significantly larger than they previously had. Munching on bread, the strange old man looked for Arya and Kaspin, both of which he saw nearly immediately. He finished his bread and cleared his throat before walking over to the two. "So then, where to Arya?"
((I haven't been able to write well for a while lately, so I wasn't really able to role play and I forgot some stuff. I was also doing a few other things on Gaia, but soon I'll be back to my old role playing habits.))

Arya noticed the rising tension in the pirate's voice. "I apologize for the haste, I will leave you to pilot from your own will. I advise you though that we head immediately for Pelnas. We are facing large problems."
Kaspin looked out toward the ships with a spyglass. "War ships! And you will never guess who..." Upon the horizon rode long forgotten enemies. Crudely armored men and women rabbled about the decks holding primitive tools of war. Sling clubs, bows, iron rods. That and a varied menacing arsenal of weapons.
Arya stared at the standard waved by the flag men. His face became grim. "I feared this day for so long. Now the haunting finally manifests itself in flesh and blood." Arya looked at Eva. "We have to go to Pelnas now. The Acumi Erylsins are approaching. Kaspin... Go warn Juwel."
Kaspin nodded He looked over to Eva. "Pardon me, but I am going to need to borrow some of your ship's crystal power." Kaspin jumped onto the the railing unwrapped his bandanna. "In case I don't make it you should have something to remember me by." He tossed it to Morilineth's feet and fell backward into the open air. Kaspin then hit the air crystal with his cane. There was a flash of light and Kaspin was gone.
