I don't know much about politics and stuff like that but I do know enough to make me think. I'm not sure if its just Florida (where I'm from) but there's been talk that their going to lower the drinking age (which is 21) to 18. I want to know if this is just for Florida or everywhere else and what are your opinions on it. Do you agree with this possiblity? Do you think 18 is ready for something like that? I know that they've done it once before but there was a reason why they stopped it. So ladies...let me hear your mind.

Well, I think the difference is negligible, I don't think it will contribute to any more/less underage drinking. The only change, I think, is that there won't be as many underage drinkers because the ones from 18-20 will be drinking legally.
I don't really see much of a difference happening. Maybe I just have an odd view on this.

I think, there will be maybe some more car accidents, but usually, its the people, no matter the age, who think its ok to drink and drive and do stupid stuff. Its kinda hard to explain, but like.. There will be people all around no matter the age drinking and doing some pretty stupid stuff.

That is soo true. I agree with both of you. I personally think its stupid if they really do lower the drinking age...I myself am 18 and I rather not touch any alcoholic beverage. I find it disgusting and it's not good for my already messed up kidneys. Sometime I fear for our future...the world is going to shits it seems confused

If at 18 you can move out on your own, buy your own car, get married and defend your country you should be able to have a cold beer! scream

the way i see it.
if 18 years old are good enough to fight for our country, then they should be allow to drink too.
but then there are the s**t heads(pardon my lanuage) that will screw it up for us anyways.

In parts of jamaica there's a legal drinking height... 5'4". America has the highest drinking age in the world. I'm done telling boring facts. A friend of mine lives in florida and so far she hasn't told me bout that. Anyway on the topic of is eighteen enough yes. I used to drink and I'm fourteen but I handled it to a point I knew when to quit. Here in New Orleans actually a parent can buy their own child a drink and they can have it. so depends all on responsibility

Where i'm at the legal drinking age is 18. And thinking of having to wait till i turn 21 seems to much of a b***h! I understand why it is so coz of heath reasons but come on! 21?
