To many the outer limits of Omnigenus were a dangerous place. Filled with thieves ruffians and all matter of unpleasent fallout from the main city. Outcasts, Criminals, fugitives, they could all be found here. To most the outerlimits could be described as hell on sedes. To Baphomet, they were home.

The young red Tigris sat on the steps of Harry's bar, drying the finge of his hair. Harry's bar looked could have been mistaken for an abandoned building, if not for the noise that came from it almost 24 hours a day. Most people steered clear of it though, atleast, you steered clear of it if you wern't part of it's world. For harry's bar was where you could find the most, ruthless, of fixers in the engaging world. Baphomet had been picked up by one of the best, Tommy. If you wanted results, you went to tommy.

The door creaked open and shut behind Baph, "Good work today." the deep voice of the canis Tommy said accompanied by the clink of coins hitting the ground. "we made a killing today betting on you, good thing we got that lepus to throw it huh?" Tommy laughed. Ignoring tommy as much as possible, Baph picked up the bag of coin and hurridly checked inside.

"Where is it?" baph asked angrily, "the prize was a new upgrade and mutagen! where are they?"

Tommy barked a harsh laugh as pulled out hand dangled the two over baphs head. "these? sorry kid you're not ready for these yet. Call them a good will gift to your uncle tommy." Tommy carked out a laugh again and turned back inside.

With a growl Baph threw the bag of coin against the opposing wall, scattering the coin all over the street as it hit. "i don't need money, i can take what I want, but i need power, damn a** hole." Baph muttered to himself as he settled back down on the steps, staring out at the street.

Zero had just finished his latest task, deliver a package at the far end of Omnigenus' outer limits. The slums didn't scare him much seeing how he had his trusted board if needed to escape and he could defend himself if worse came to worse. He had received a call earlier that he had to return to Nunindae the soonest possible. That would mean one night's rest and included leaving long before the break of dawn to make it back by the time the morning shift would start.

The engines of his board made a small whirr as he moved through the relatively quiet streets, close to the ground, raising a small dust cloud in his way. A couple of small lepus suddently appeared in front of him as from nowhere, chasing after a ball. Zero needed to pull a lightning-fast manuever not to hit them. "Watch were you're going." he called back at them waving a hand in their direction.

Blame it on his bad luck but he had to come across an arguement, it would seem and not just any arguement but one involving money, illegal money. Trying not to get caught, he lowered his board and stopped its engine as he landed next to it and picked it up with one hand. Hopping to go by unnoticed he attempted to slip away in a back alley, having in mind to wait until the other tigris that was sitting on the stairs would go away so he would leave too. Of course that would be what he would have done in a different situation if he hadn't panicked at the last moment. Jumping on his board again he accelerated at full speed and rushed at the main street again. He wanted to get away as fast as he could -he just hoped the other wouldn't guess that he might have overheard.

Baph appeared relaxed and sulking, but in truth he had tensed as tight as a spring. It wasn't hard to notice the other tigris that had tried to avoid his little conversation with tommy. they practicly glowed, it didn't make for a great stealth ability. Baph didn't know what they tigris was, they could be a cop, another fixer, or just a passerby, it didn't matter. They whole reason that Fixing worked was because the Fixers stayed hidden. If someone knew what was going on... well Baph would be out of a job.

As the Blue tigris raced past, Baph tensed, and sprung. Diving out towards the other tigris, trying to tackle them off their board. Tommy had already screwed up his day, Baph was in the mood for a fight.

About the moment when he tought that he would just go by unharmed he tensed, feeling the other pursuing after him. "That's not very kind." Zero scowled at the other that had just clashed with him trying to make him fall. He hated being chased -even though it was his fault after all- attempting to speed up ahead he finally lost his balance though -been already shaken from the tackle and eded face-first on the ground a few meters ahead.

"Ow..." he protested, rubbing his aching rear with one hand, that wasn't the best landing he had managed to pull off. "Great... Just great..." he scoffed watvhing the red tigris charge at him, he was a worker not a fighter -even though his ambitions did lie within the battle domes-. He had a long day and needed rest. Eyeing his board that had fallen on the ground a bit to his left he sighed and got on his feet. If the other attempted to attack him he would fight back and after he was done with that he'd go away. His manager would have his head if he was late. And right now, the canis was more menacing to him than the tigris in front of him.

Baph grunted as he hit the ground. He really couldn't believe that he had missed. Some fighter he was.

Picking himself up off the ground He turned just in time to see the other wobble and fall off their board. Baph smiled to himself and began to stalk towards the other tigris. "What are you doing here?" Baph asked coldly. "Too pretty to have come from here, to rich to have fallen here. so the question begs, who sent you?" Baph growled. "and why were you eavesdropping?"

the spikes on Baph's shoulders rustled softly as he drew closer to the blue tigris. "and you better make sure I like your answers, or else I'll beat you to a bloody pulp, and then take you to tommy!"

Taking a couple steps back to aid to his defence, Zero uttered a low-toned growl. He didn't like to be threatenned and he didn;t like the other's attitude, however this was not a high-class district but the slums so he should have been prepared for that. Rolling his eyes, he crossed both arms over his chest to show just how annoyed he was.
"I'm with a delivery agency from Nundinae" he explained with a sour look. "I was here to deliver a package and was merely returning to the main city when I happenned to stumble into you. Believe it or not that's all there is to say." he shrugged.

Big words... small words, and yet that was all Zero could tell the other, which was basically the truth. However he had that feeling the other wouldn't believe him. He really didn;t have much to convince him of something different either though. He felt like banging his head on a wall -he wouldn't do that though-. How had he gotten himself into a mess, again?

Baph sighed, "Long way from home blue boy. You shoulda hurried back sooner. I know you were eavesdropping, You arn't exactly stealthy. Personally I thought it was only pregnate women that glowed." Baph smirked as he stalked closer. "personally I wouldn't mind letting you go, tommy can be a bit.. harsh and I'm sure you would like to avoid that. But, there's this question of what you heard."

Baph stopped close to the tigris, within easy striking distance if it desolved to that. "Don't try to play me false here either, Just fess up."

"If you wanted to keep secretive you wouldn't have yelled so much." Zero uttered in a low-toned growl. "Anyone might have accidentaly overheard. And what would you do then? Threaten them all or something? Tough luck, outlaw, I am not afraid of you." normally Zero was kind towards others, however he really didn't like the crimson tigris that stood before him. He wanted nothing to do with him, he was in a hurry too.

Merely turning his back at the other, as if nothing was going on, he walked back to where his board had fallen and picked it up. "And it would be easier to get information if you just didn;t threaten anyone you know." he added sarcastically. "A bit of sweetness goes a long way, huh?"

With a few quick steps Baph was at the other tigris's back, reaching out to grab the other by the neck. "first off," baph hissed, "Anyone who might have accendently overheard would have the common sense to not show it and keep their mouths shut."

"I'm feeling kind today so listen up blue boy." Baph growled "A little sweetness in my line of work get you killed. This is me being nice, you want to see my threatening then I suggest you keep talking blue boy. Either you shut up, or I introduce you to Tommy." Baph glared at the other tigris.

Baph hoped the other tigris would see sense, Baph had no intention of introducing him to tommy. If baph told Tommy what had happened the blue boy would not be going home, ever. Tommy was an a**, and looked after his own, but most importantly he looked after his cover. His top priority was secrecy, if you got in the way of that, well you wouldn't do it again.

Tommy must have been drunk to blow so much over a simple show of power out on the street. And if tommy was drunk, it was wise for everyone to stay away from him.

Zero flinched, turning halfway to shoot a death-glare at the other. "If I were you I would let go of me, lest I wanted myself in pain." he said calmly. "And the name is Zero, not blue boy, red idiot." hiting the other's hand away he sighed. What was he expected to do? Stay and chat...? The other's reasoning was simply rediculous to him. He simply tried to leave and was stopped. He stayed and he was going to meet that Tommy or whatever -not that he was afraid- he just wanted to eat, sleep and be on his way damnit -why did he always receive the odd jobs anyway?-. He sighed again.

"Look, is this going to drag for long? If you're going to keep me here you'll need to offer me hospitallity..." he scoffed. "If you know what the word means..." he shrugged at his comment about the other's attitude and looked away. "I need to depart early." he explained tiredly. "And you don't need to act all snappy. Just because I overheard something it doesn't mean I'm going to meddle in your business..." he was back to his meek self, it would seem.

Baph glowered, He wanted this Tigris to resist, to fight back to do something! anything to let baph let off some steam. But no he was just running away.

Baph growled and let go of the other tigris. "Fine blue boy, leave, but if I hear that you've been flapping those lips of yours I'll make sure it'll turn out bad for you!" Baph didn't add that it would be very bad for him as well. He glared and backed away intending to watch the blue boy untill he was gone.

Baph was itching for a fight, he had hopped that the Tigris would let hims tart something, but he guessed that people who were ablet o be all posh and carefree didn't have any backbone.
