.. Sedes Our Home. The planet where the Daruma live and prosper is the very Earth, previous home for the humans who destroyed it long ago. Daruma now call it Sedes, a word that has its origins in human latin, meaning "residence." In truth, the word has come to mean "home" to the Daruma who inhabit it.Lumen Our Guide. The Moon, called Lumen (Latin for "eye" or "understanding"), was also revitalized by Daruman technology. Now it has its own ecosystem and is used by the Daruma to test how the ecology reacts to disasters, climatic changes, and technologies, much like a test site. Once something has been tested on Lumen, it is possible to implement it on Sedes.

..- Location 1: OMNIGENUS - The Cosmopolitan Capital Description This sprawling, bustling capital city is the heart of Daruman civilization. A perfect blend of technology and nature, Omnigenus features a mishmash of futuristic skyscrapers, beautiful parks, and waterways. Daruma from around the world come here to do business, to relax amidst nature, and to enjoy the numerous activities.Points of Interest ✖ Business District: Glass skyscrapers line these busy downtown streets, where all the major companies make their HQ.✖ Spaceport Docks: All kinds of aircraft, from passenger planes to giant cargo ships, fill the skies around this famous landmark. The Spaceport is the link to locations all around the world.✖ Medius Park: Small parks and greenery are scattered throughout Omnigenus, but Medius is by far the largest and most consolidated. It is located at the center of the city, surrounded by a wide, crystal-clear moat. Acres of green trees, lakes and meadows make this a peaceful place to visit.✖ Entertainment District: Lights and signs flash along these Daruma-packed streets, filled with stores, restaurants, and lounges. Carnivals and small amusement parks often set up here. There are plenty of trendy nightclubs and bars, but they only admit "Stage 2 and up."✖ The Outer Limits: Not every part of this prosperous city is as perfect as it seems. At the edges of Omnigenus, past the lively crowds and the greenery, lie the gray expanses of the Outer Limits. Everything seems less colorful here, from the dilapidated buildings and abandoned warehouses, to the dark, twisting alleyways. Illegal back-alley Engages and Upgrade sales often occur here. Most Daruma stay away from this shady area, where outcasts and criminals are rumored to frequent, but there are always the thrillseekers...Note: We DID NOT create these awesome images, nor claim ownership of them! They are solely for visual inspiration, and are © to their respective artists. All location descriptions are prone to be changed/revised at any time, with Donatello's input.

..- Location 2: NUNDINAE - The Industrial Core Description Colossal caverns are home to Nundinae, Sedes' main commercial and industrial hub. All Daruman goods will pass through here before arriving at their destination. Massive cargo ships fly in and out of the caverns daily, unloading and receiving their wares at the docks. The majority of Daruma here are workers, either control technicians, mechanics, or manual dock hands. A hazy, fog-like smoke continuously permeates the caverns, as well as the heavy clanking of machinery and traveling aircraft.Points of Interest ✖ Cargo Bay: This is the main receiving/unloading area for cargo ships, bustling with Daruma shiphands and dock workers.✖ Central Control Towers: Restricted to those in charge of directing ship traffic, machinery, and the overall workings of Nundinae, these giant iron structures seem to touch the cavern tops.✖ Ferrum's Tavern: A rusted, lopsided building serves as the kickback spot for much of Nundinae's Daruma workers. Burly shiphands and control managers alike frequent this popular spot, to have a drink and watch Engaging matches after work.✖ The Bunkers: Metal structures embedded all along the cavern walls, high above the docks, serve as spartan homes to many of the Daruma who work here. To reach these residential heights, Daruma must take high-speed elevators, or fly there by way of ship.✖ Old Shipyard: Scrap parts and giant skeletons of once-proud vessels spread across this space, creating an eerie mini-city of metal. It is for the most part abandoned, save for the occasional bum picking through scraps, or the shady folk who hawk their wares amidst the concealing mountains of metal...Note: We DID NOT create these awesome images, nor claim ownership of them! ..- Location 3: PELAGUS - The Aquatic City of Night Description Protected by a giant, waterproof dome maintained by complex technology, Pelagus is a city that never sleeps. Located at the bottom of the ocean, where the sun never shines, Pelagus is renowned for its eternal nightlife-- Daruma from all over come here to party, to play, to see and be seen. Tourism is also a major trade here, as the surrounding sea contains an amazing variety of marine life.
The other half of Pelagus is a stark contrast. Comprised of intricate rock towers and low-lying plateaus, these are home to numerous office complexes and labs. Here, Daruma work in businesses, and scientists conduct marine research. Since Pelagus is underwater, no Daruma-- partygoers or workers alike-- actually lives here, save for the rare aquatic-type Daruma.Points of Interest ✖ Downtown: Where all the action is. Clubs, bars, casinos, classy lounges-- whatever a partygoer fancies, he or she will find it here. Trendy shops and restaurants also line the streets, which are eternally packed with fun-seeking Daruma.✖ Nox Noctis: Out of the countless nightclubs in Downtown, this is the most famous and exclusive. Its spiraling neon skylights can be seen for miles around, and there are always lines-- stretching blocks or more-- at its glowing entrance. Famous DJs and musicians frequent here, and the drinks are always top-grade. Doors open at midnight; make sure to come early!✖ Business District: Much like Omnigenus, this area of Pelagus houses large corporations, business complexes, and research labs. Rather than glass, though, these skyscrapers are chiseled from centuries-old rock formations.✖ Aqualis Landing: Located at the very south end of Pelagus, this vast platform-- ending in a sheer ocean dropoff-- accommodates everything tourist-related. Here, Daruma can take submarine tours outside Pelagus' oxygen bubble, visit the famous Aqualis aquarium, and other activities. Submarine tours are popular year-round; these vessels are made entirely from special glass, which can stand the ocean's pressure as well as allow tourists a panoramic view of the sea life around them. ..- Location 5: TORVA - Jungle Research Facilities Description Deep within the humid jungles of Torva lie numerous wildlife research facilities, used for scientific and technological purposes. The public is also welcome here, to learn from Daruman scientists, and to see live specimens of jungle wildlife. Some sectors of Torva also house Battle Domes, where the public may Engage with an approved license. Points of Interest ✖ Accipio Facility: The main hub of all Torvan labs and facilities, this central building is where all visitors must check-in. From the outside it looks part of the jungle itself, its metal face intertwined with vines and fern fronds. The inside of this facility is airy and filled with sunlight, decorated with small ponds and waterfalls. You may make educational appointments with scientists/biologists here, or apply for a license to Engage.✖ The Vita Gardens: Located just outside Accipio, these Gardens are home to all kinds of fascinating wildlife. There are various buildings here: a Zoo that houses animals native to the Torvan jungle, an Aviary with colorful tropical birds, a Greenhouse with beautiful and rare plants.✖ Battle Dome, Torvan Sector: Part of the jungle has been cleared away here, replaced with many of the special domes used for Daruma Engages.✖ Jungle Depths: Past the civilized facilities lies the dark, dense jungle, which holds many yet-undiscovered secrets. It is advised that Daruma do not wander off by themselves without a guide, lest they find themselves lunch for much larger, ferocious and untamed species...Note: We DID NOT create these awesome images, nor claim ownership of them! ..- Location 6: CIRCA - Heat at the North Pole Description Colossal devices located at the North Pole, called Circa, maintain the balance of the planet's magnetic field. Very few Daruma have ventured this far north to see the majestic structures, but those who have claim it is a truly awe-inspiring sight. The Circa generate enough heat to create a small circle of rainforest-like climate around them. Past this circle of warmth, though, lies the harsh arctic tundra-- and no Daruma would brave this frozen wilderness without a very good reason.Points of Interest ✖ The Circa: It is impossible to get up close to these huge structures, else be burnt to a crisp. But climb one of the hills in the Aureus Perimeter, and you can catch a breathtaking view of these mysterious forms.✖ The Aureus Perimeter: The name for the bizarre, rainforest-like circle that surrounds the Circa. It is largely devoid of animal life, being so close to the unsettling structures. Rainforest-covered hills and steep, rocky gorges make up the majority of the terrain.✖ Arctic Wasteland: Lies beyond the Aureus Perimeter, and encompasses the rest of the North Pole. It's not really a point of interest-- why would any Daruma visit this barren, icy environment for fun?✖ Snow Base Alpha: Rumor has it that this extensive compound-- once used for testing and research purposes-- is located somewhere within the snowy Wasteland. But as to whether it's still in use, or even inhabited, is a mystery...Note: We DID NOT create these awesome images, nor claim ownership of them!
