I don't like that the Browns have benched a decent quarterback and are replacing him with an unproven quarterback in the middle of the season. Who knows maybe Quinn will be the next great quarterback starting Sunday.

Its about time He gets in there.
Be better than Anderson, though Anderson has been alright lately...

I disagree with this move by the Browns. Although Brady Quinn may be a good young QB with a lot of potential, Derek Anderson isn't the reason why Cleveland is struggling. The Browns showed a sign of a dysfunctional group by doing this move. You should only bench a QB when he is doing bad, but not when the entire team is doing bad. Get Romeo Crennel out of there, and stop listening to the rowdy fans. The Cleveland Browns may have given up a lot to get Quinn, but now is not the time to put him in.

changing your quarterback isn't going to make a difference if the team isn't doing well as a whole. the browns weak administration is just doing this so they can please the fans, its pathetic.

Exactly. Plus, the Brown are giving him a short week to prepare, because the news came early today, and they play the Broncos this Thursday night.

Maybe they are that desperate... ?? idk, that decision was quite confusing, I read that Crennel said in an interview that the browns would start with Anderson and next day (or same day?) he said that Quinn will be starting.

They can't really be desperate...They are already going to lose the division, and not make the playoffs. The Steelers will win the division easily, and the Ravens could make some noise for a wild card spot. But the Browns are going nowhere this season. It would just be best to ride out the rest of the season with Anderson, and start Quinn nice and fresh at the beginning of next season.

It's about time he just had his career year last season.

Which is why it's too early to make the change at QB. Derek Anderson is not the sole reason for the Browns playing bad this year, and the bad situations of players around him is hurting his performance.
