This happens every time people treat a politician like some sort of Messiah...people get so zealous about him that they will actually resort to violence against his opponents and their supporters. Every time I hear about some idiot TV host calling Obama "electrifying" or some crap like that, I really get worried. He is a politician. Nothing more. This mentality destroys democracy. It's happened so many times in history, and never with positive consequences.
Also, does anyone else see the irony in an Obama supporter using a gun?
the quickest way to invoke change is through the barrel of a gun.
