Lord Hec
I cant believe they traded a WR for a 1st round pick... and they even added a 3rd and a 6th?
confused Darn, that boy must be worth it (I have not seen him play, but I heard he went to the pro bowl in the past)
Who'd have guessed that Alexander would be a backup for the Redskins several years ago? (specially in the year in which he was MVP).
I really wanted to see Tony in another team.. he deserves a lot more than KC
neutral Ah well, I guess they were asking for too much (No less than a 2nd round pick if Im not wrong)
And Pacman Jones... geez.. no comment.
Yeah, I was really surprised that the Cowboys gave up so much for Roy Williams. He is a very good receiver, but not great. Also, they are aging on the offensive line and secondary, and could have done better with draft picks. Props to the Lions for actually doing something productive.
I was surprised that it took so long for Shaun Alexander to be picked up. He still has quite a lot of juice left in the tank, and would have helped any team he went to. Shaun would have been a better fit somewhere else, where he could get the bulk of carries; not behind Portis in Washington.
Also, I really wanted the Giants to get Tony Gonzales. A third round pick is a bit much, and Tony is getting old with a high contract, but it would have been well worth it.
