"The breeze is so refreshing," Nami said as she flipped her hair to the side, "what a perfect day to make such an important announcement." There was a subtle hint of sadness in her face, but Nami was strong, so she did not let her emotions show. She knew what had to be done, for it was her duty as Atlantean royalty. Traipsing up towards the pedestal constructed of coral, Nami placed all of the pokeballs in her posession upon it. The crown which represented her royalty sat upon her head elegantly and was only worn on occasions of extreme importance.

She waited for the attention of the people of Tentou to make her announcement.

*standing in the center of the mass of humans, gigaus waited patiantly for the event to really start*


soot: =sitting on his trainer's shoulder, soot looked around the crowd nervously. he had never been around so many humans before; he had lived in the forest for his entire life before gigaus= ummm, gigaus...

hmm?

what are all these people doing here? and why are we here?

*barely hear over the croud, gigaus almost yelled his answer* yes, I can hear you, and it's because there's an important announcement...

*soon enought the woman who was to announce the announcment climbed up to the stage and placed her pokeballs on a pedestal. she looked that of a goddess, much so that it even effected gigaus*

=transfixed on the angel that graced the stage, soot could not help but wounder what she was= shes....beautiful...

"What the hell is this about?" poke questioned as herself and ziggy flew through the skies. She was personaly amazed that Francene had let her out so easily in order to attend this announcement. In fact, francis himself had told her about it. As for weather riyo would be here or not she had no idea, but she new this would be important

Ziggy spiralled downwards when they came close enough, and when a few meters above the ground she flew straight forwards, creating a jet stream undeneither hair and sitiring up some sand. She came to a half just near the podum, and poke hopped off the charizards back.

"okay, I'm here!" she called out.

Oh, Riyo was there alright. Leaning next to a tree, drinking a soda. Sir Lancelot was at her side, as usual. "mladie, wuts goin on ?" The childish-sounding pokemon asked in his loud voice which made a few people turn.

"Dunno. Must be important." She commented as she took another sip of the soda and handed it to the Riolu if to do nothing but quiet him down. He happily took it and guzzled the thing down.

She sighed and watched as the beauty queen step onto the pedestal, wondering just exactly was this urgent. If It was enough to be let off her short leash, then something interesting would probably be spoken.

Ri-chan, who usually took refuge on Riyo's shoulder, was at the moment stuck in the backpack Francias had given her. You know, to match her girly little skirt and top. And yes, they were still matching. Because it was just "too cute". Ugh. She could deal with everything else, but was it too much for them to let her keep what little dignity she had left?

Running late as usual Mitsu was in search of Riyo. She had been told that Francis had sent her to the annoucement that was about to be made by a woman named Nami. She didn't know much about this gym leader to say the least but she at least knew where the place was located. Or at least she thought she did.

"Do you see it yet, Snare?" Mitsu asked obviously lost.

With a sigh Snare started off in the direction he could smell people. "This way, Pup." Obediantly Mitsu followed until they were finally among the crowd that awaited the annoucement to be made.

"Wow, there's so many people," Mitsu was in awe as she tried to look over the sea of heads to have a look at this Nami. Giving up after a moment being to short to get a good view Mitsu resigned herself to look for Riyo again. "Do you think you can help me find Riyo?"

Snare huffed. He would rather tell her to look for her on her own but Riyo was far better company than the little runt he had to look after. "This way." He nearly growled pushing through the crowd until they were on their way to Riyo's location.

Mitsu followed him without question, her nose was no good in this large of a crowd. But then a familiar voice caught her attention. Not a person infact but a pokemon filled with excitement. "Explosions?" That sounded interesting. Maybe there would be a performance of some kind.
