Wow. tough election this year. At least in my opinion.
In the beginning I thought obama was pretty cool. his newness could give the US a fresh look at things. Although he was inexperienced, i thought he was the better choice for the president. Now, he wants us to change way to fast and he is way to totalitarian. It would be like sticking barney as president of the mature club.
Now McCain, on the other hand, I didnt pay attention to him because of the obama/hilary thing. After watching the RNC i was convinced he should be president. He was born to be a leader, he helped his fellow troop-mates (lol) through the POW camp in vietnam. thats an incredible thing to do.
Anyone else on my side? or the other?

At first, I had no idea what so ever who I wanted to win. I wanted a woman in the White House, but I didn't want it to be Hillary. Obama's newness as you said was interesting to me, but he is too ignorant and I don't really agree with all the changes he wants to make.
I really hope McCain wins, he is ready for the pressure of being president, and actually understands war, unlike Obama. Therefore, he will be able to take care of the war much better than Obama ever could. Palin also has much more experience than Hillary does in government, and I would be more comfortable with a more experienced person.
Obama will ruin our country, and it has nothing to do with his skin color.

First off, i dont like McCain because he wants to continue this war. Also, i dont think hes going to change this economic recession, and i dont think he'll bring the jobs back to US from China/Mexico.
What i'm Worried About in the '08 Election is them bringing back the draft.
Maybe im just being paranoid but with the way McCain is talking hes like 'We dont have enough that want to go over seas in our war against terrorism' And im thinking yeah because you people are killing them all gonk
AND NOW, when i was comfortable Obama wasn't that way, on the Presidential forum hes flipp-flopping saying 'We need not only soldiers but agriculturists and more civilian jobs there that want to do in the danger zone'
WHAT!?! I was relying on Obama to get out of this crazy mess not go along with it!
I DO NOT want to go to the middle east under this cause for any reason, and i dont want my fiancee going either when he moves to America. The draft is in the constitution that it can be reinstated, but it would cause craziness...so idk.
Go Nader? Too bad the independent party will never stand a chance ;_;

I don't agree with everything that McCain says, but I would rather have a persident who knows what the country needs to do [or at least, in his view] than someone who flip-flops like a naieve child, such as Obama.
I do not want a draft, but it sounds like a possiblity with either of the two. Now I don't think we should have gone into war in the first place, which, America has done way too many times. Since we have started it, we should finish it- Obama is too much like the joker, he doesn't have a plan, he's just a dog chasing cars. For our countries sake, let's hope he doesn't catch one, because nobody, not even himself, really knows what he will do with it.

I mean when this fiasco began 6/7 years ago we were liberating Afghanistan, then we were hunting Obama down. I guess they didn't accept he was on dialysis from Kidney failure, and had no access to a hospital after the invasion, if they think hes still alive in those mountains, they're so wrong -_- Now what is the purpose of this war? If the Republicans feel they need to annihilate every anti-American across the globe they have a lot to do.

I don't know, I don't follow what is happening in the war, and I don't understand it either. I am sure that McCain has a better understanding of war than Obama does; therefore, he would better know what we must do before we can saftley pull out, or attempt to finish this war.
Politicians in general appear to be all about war; war is a possibility, no matter who our president is.

i heard obama was for gay rights. yay! :D but still..
i'm for mccain. and my mum has a lady-crush on his vice, sarah palen. she was so convinced he'd choose some stuffy old stick-in-the-mud but instead he chose 'a pretty young woman'! teehee..
anyway, go mccain.
oh, and it was kind of funny in a really rude way.. today someone changed barrack obama's name to 'a rock yo mama'. i laughed, but then i stopped and i'm liek 'that's mean.' {but a lil' fuunny.. }

Personally, I want McCain to win. He is very dedicated to this country, and knows what needs to be done. I believe he can do what needs to be done.
Obama wants to change everything way too fast, and in my opinion, that's a bad thing. Also, he doesn't have enough experience. He's not prepared for what America needs.

I was originally for Hillary because she, in my opinion, has the most experience. However, considering the media was against her, I have switched to supporting mccain because at least he's not new. Obama just cares about winning, and will support anything, even if he personally doesn't agree with it. Also, he is a poor speaker when there is no teleprompter to tell him what to say. These are all superficial reasons, but I would feel more safe with mccain in office than obama. We need someone who will know how to handle this country, even if that person wants to remain in a war that needn't have been started in the slightest.

Truthfully I didn't even give a damn who won. I'm not voting, I don't care. Cal me what you will, I just don't care.

For a long time, I had no idea what was going on in the election until a few months before the election date. I voted for McCain, but it did not matter to me so much who won. I was disturbed that there was a great "NoBama 08" issue. I do wish people would not bash others. Always I say "I did not vote for the man, but will surely defend him." Obama cannot run this country without the support of the people.
