they also ******** up the call in the cowboy-eagle game. the one where desean jackson spiked the ball

No, that was a legit and good call. The unexperienced and cocky DeSean Jackson let go of the ball before entering the endzone. What a way to impress the coach and your team about working hard. Props to the Cowboys for challenging that, and to the officials who got the call right.

...That call didn't even matter anyways. The Eagles received the ball inside the two yard line, since the live fumble was not recovered, and the play ended. Westbrook scored on the very next play. It's not even close to the Chargers-Broncos game call, which ultimately changed the outcome of the game.

But either outcome came true:

1. The Cowboys won the game, so Adam Jones recovering it wouldn't have an effect on the final result.
2. The Eagles received the football, and still scored on the next play (Westbrook), yet still lost.

No they didn't, I just explained why! gonk

...The Cowboys didn't get screwed, because even though the bad call was made against them, they still won the game. The same can't be said about the Chargers, who lost on a bad call.

so just because the cowboys won makes the call good. either way their was an early wistle just like in the denver game. so its ok that the ref GAVE the eagles free points as long as the cowboys win? i think not

They reviewed the play, took back the points, put the ball on the one, Westbrook scored, I doubt any of the Cowboy's players thought to pick it up. I remember hearing the announcer saying Adam Jones was the closest, but didn't have intention of grabbing the football. Still the Cowboys won and the Eagles lost.

It wasn't nearly as bad a call because nobody does what Desean Jackson did, nobody drops the ball before scoring a touchdown for no reason. I wouldn't even call it a bad call I would have given the Eagles touchdown, anybody would have.

The ref who blew the play dead in the Chargers, Broncos game is receiving all sorts of hate mail. He's apologizing to all of them, that is extremely classy. I feel badly for the man, he's human he made a mistake. It's a game, get over it.

if u watch the play adam was about to pick it up then the wistle was blown. the eagles did not deserve the points.

But that's because you said, "The Cowboys still got screwed either way." No they didn't. They won the game, despite the blown-dead call.

Yes, it was a bad call (not the official's fault, just bad NFL rule). Yes, Adam Jones would have recovered the fumble to make Cowboy fans happy for the stupid minor stat. But the most important thing was that the Cowboys won the game. That's all that matters in football; winning. It's not even comparable to how the same call affected the Broncos-Chargers game.

No, no, you had me wrong. Of course it was a bad call, but it didn't really matter, since the Cowboys won the game. Anyways, it was more of a bad NFL rule, than a bad call.

Well, they're only human...He made a mistake.

The NFL should institute a new rule, where you can review a play that was already blown dead.
