In all seriousness though, as long as no one minds, then I shan't. It's just because I'm 'conditioned' from the harshness of some other forums about it, I was just wondering.

Yes, seems no one minds here, which is good. I've been avoiding bringing up old threads, but I may now (if only I can remember which topics caught my eye)~

I'm glad you did! My grandparents used to have one like that, but it stopped working. I used to love listening and watching it. Me thinks I'm gonna raid my grandmother's storage, see if I can find it. I think I'm gonna see if I can get it working again. Goodness knows, I could use a clock...
Actually, I got a VERY steampunk-ish clock from dollar tree one time. Uses AAA battery. (a AAA) I've yet to put one in it tho- I enjoy it sitting on my computer desk.

LOL, noooo~ he did bring up a very good thread. I had forgotten about those types of clocks til I saw the picture. Doubt mum will let me have hers, even if it is just sitting there gathering dust, so I'll go shop for my own. XD
Zenath: Dollar Tree, you say? Hmm~ ours are called Family Dollar, but I'll go looking round there first before I look online or at big box stores for one. biggrin
