WHERE DO THEY COME FROM?Values come from one of two places, the world, or the Word. Values from the world can include "no absolutes" "no real right or wrong" "just because it's wrong for you..." "as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else..." Values from the Word include The Ten Commandments, Love your neighbor as you love yourself, Obey your parents, and Speak the truth at all times.
Phillipians 1:10
For I want you always to see clearly the difference between right and worng, and to be inwardly clean, no one being able to criticize you from now until our Lord returns.

God's laws are perfect. They protect us, make us wise and give us joy and light. God's laws are pure, eternal, just. They are more desirable than gold. They are sweeter than honey dripping from a honeycomb.

God's Word is a flashlight to light the path ahead of me and keep me from stumbling.

They are the building blocks of my life.
What I do, determines how i act, which determines what i am.

What values are in my life?
Ok, these are the notes from my church yesterday. They are kind of confusing so ima tell you what they basically mean. Don't follow the advice of what today's society are telling you. Follow what God is telling you. The thought of the week means what am i doing? How do i act that shows others that i am a christian? What rules do i abide by? I want you to think about that and answer honestly to yourself. Does what you do reflect who you are? Thanks for listening. :D
