Attendance in the Comiket 2007, Tokyo, Japan: 550,000 people. Takes place in the Tokyo International Exhibition Center, a humongous eight-story convention center, the biggest in Japan.
Attendance in the International Book Fair 2007, Guadalajara, Mexico: 550,000 people! Takes place in Expo Guadalajara, a humongous convention center with one single sprawling floor plus the multi-story parking lot, the biggest in Latin America.
I always knew the Book Fair was huge, but I never thought it would be THAT ******** humongous! eek
The cool parts of the Book Fair are the Grupo Zeta stand, where you can find some damn good modern books, the Colofón stand that sells more artsy literature (damn expensive, but damn good), and the back stands that sell comic books, manga and anime ^^
