It was something she had been pondering over these days, ever since the full moon had shown it's effects on her now adult kids. It had come as a shock to her, especially losing Xexilia through that portal. Even though Ayako put up a brave front like she always did, deep down inside she was blaming herself.

The first time had been a fluke.

The second time was no excuse. She knew very well that mixing werewolf genes with the Luna Diviner's would have disastrous results, and yet, they still had kids. Five more, in fact. And look what happened? Axis went blind, Nyx couldn't move and Xexilia....

And Xara was mute for most of the time. She was worried about Xerviree as well. That collar, that weapon. Sure, it was normal for a mother to care for her kids, but she blamed herself. It was her fault her kids were ...like this.

Maybe it would be better if they hadn't been born. She stared out of the window, lost in her troubled thoughts.

Mentally, Saix tried to tell himself that he wasn't troubled with the fact his children were all affected bu the moon - and most of them negatively. The more as he tried to convince himself, however, the more he knew he was wrong. He had gotten soft being around Kitsumi and the others in the beginning, and now there was Ayako and his children as well. Lately, it was hard for Saix not to feel some concern for someone, whether it be Ayako, Kitsumi, his children, or even others in his family (like Edgeworth, though there was rarely anything he had to worry about). And frankly?

It annoyed the hell out of him.

Regardless, it was something he found that he couldn't ignore, as much as he would try. Perhaps he'd return to his normal self eventually, but before then, he had to rid himself of all these troubling thoughts. Where to start, but to help everyone else cheer up first? The problem was, there was probably a whole hoard of people who needed cheering up right now...

Luckily for Saix, he didn't have to pick and choose who to start with. He had almost passed by the room when he noticed Ayako from the corner of his eye. Noting her troubled expression, he sighed with a shake of his head, padding into the room.

"Ayako?"

Kaiyumi

Her head jerked backwards, turquoise eyes startled. She hadn't really expected anyone to come up to her (Perhaps Kitsumi) but it was him. It took her a while to compile her thoughts and turn to him, trying to put a calm expression on her face.

She tried.

But she couldn't. She managed to, in front of Xanul when he babbled, looking as though he was about to cry, about what happened to Xelon, Zweix, and Lune. She could put a mask over her horrified expression, because she knew, if she showed it, her children would be at a loss of what to do. What happened to Liliana proved it all.

But somehow, seeing him made her face fall into a sad, quiet expression, reminded of all the events. She didn't feel like hiding herself from Saix, of all people. "Xelon..." She said quietly. "Xelon hurt Zweix."

She wouldn't have been so worried if it had been Derix, Verix, or even Nexis. She would still, yes, being their grandmother, but she knew how Zweix felt. Hurt, that someone close and trusted had inflicted such damage. However, she doubted that her daughter could forgive Xelon, seeing that she didn't know the truth.

There was a pause before she looked him in the eye, sighing. "Were we wrong?"
