Okay, so I'm in the 8th grade, and there's a kid in my class. Call him...BOB! Okay, so Bob and I are in class together, are on the same soccer team, both of us are in Student Council, etc. etc. etc.. We rag on eath other all the time, but it's like a buddy thing.
Okay, here's the big problem, though: he thinks I like someone else. I've tried to make it clear that I don't feel that way (at least not anymore). Yeah, we flirt and such...uh, but I just can't make it clear that I DON'T LIKE...um...Ray.
What in the world am I supposed to do?! How can I convince him that I don't like Ray?

razz your a lot like me except i'm.... past that stage, i guess. ask 'bob' who he likes. wait for his answer, and even if he won't tell you, he'll probably ask him who you like. then you tell him who you DONT like, and if you want to move ahead, tell him you like him! tada!!

It's always hard to tell a friend that you like them as more than a friend, I think that's what ur getting at. But it will probably be easier for you when you do it, and it could be really nice if it works out. When the time is right, you hanging at one of your houses, or out at a movie, and it's just the two of you, then tell him how you feel. Let him know that your not pressuring him and you still want to be friends no matter what, but that you do like him. I personally think 8th grade is too young for a serious relationship, but nothing wrong with dating a little and having fun on a friendly level.
