beanchanjr I love walking into a room where everyone is judging me. No not really but it made me sound really narcsicistic... So at least your listening. I am gay. To the guys at my school im straight. To the girls, im gay. I DONT stare at guys in the locker room, because there is a line of privacy there. I DONT crush on straight guys unless there gay... which makes them not straight. SO then why are the guys at my high school so anti-gay. Could it be the fact that we only have 340 kids in our high school? Or perhaps the fact that if your different you will be shunned. I want a boyfriend, and can't have one because I will probably get the crap kicked out of me if any of the guys find out. So here's to a great life!! cheese_whine Cheers!

That is a major issue that a lot of people face when they come out as gay. Honestly, I'm completely supportive! Yeah it's really hard to be accepted and of course kids are immature about it. I know it'll be hard but things will change and people will eventually accept change. You'll find a great guy. Who knows? I bet there are some boys who are just scared to come out. Maybe you'll influence them! :]

yeah people tend to be distant and judge if something is different. As cliche as that sounds its true. I say get out of your area a bit and explore, you could end up finding a cute boy that is actually gay :]

Honestly, this will be the only joke I'll make out of someone's issue, but most of them are scared you'll stick something in their butt. I know that's not true but it's just how some guys are. It maybe because they are scared of how others will think of them. Just give some time to relax. Eventually you'll find a great guy who'll be willing to share all your weird qualities. They may be shaken up from finding you are gay. However, people will always be judgmental so while in a perfect world you could be openly gay and not worry about harrassment it's apart of society. You'll always find people who are prejudice and will shun you because of your choices.
Just remember while they may shun you there are other people who would give their life for you.

Same here. It's not surprising anymore when people say something stupid like that. Humanity disappoints me.

Highly agreed. It's the close mided idiots in this world who make it hard for people to admit their gay. I have several friends at my school who are open about/have realtionships. We also have this thing called the gay/straight alliance club. That one helps a lot trust me. It's opened up things for some people at our school. But however in your case, since i doubt one of those clubs is at your school, just be patient. They'll open up eventually and maybe some cute guy will be willing to be your boyfriend. Anythings possible! heart

Okay, my advice is from second-hand experiance, because my friend was gay and he had problems coming out. i think that you should tell people and be proud. If they can't accept you for your sexuality then they aren't worth your friendship. As for trying to get in a relationship: Keep looking. Maybe a friend's friend is gay, or something. It'll come to you. You just have to be open. Hope I helped. Good Luck.

I know it sounds so clique, but it's true. It's not you, it's them. It's not your fault that they hate you, and it shouldn't be your problem. They just make it that way. I live in NYC, here everyone is very accepting and its rare someone is beat up for who they are. If you are gay, just be kind of proud of it. Don't hide it in fear, if you show that you aren't too afraid of those people, they might not mess with you as much. If they are intelligent at all, explain to them that just because you are gay doesn't mean that you will hit on every guy you see. I'm straight, but I don't hit on every (actully any XP) guy that I see, I'm not attracted to everyone. I would assume that it's no different for you. Out of those 340 kids at least one other must be gay, maybe become friends with them. Power in numbers, if people who bother you start to see you're not alone, they might not single you out as much... I don't think this is very helpful, but I'm not quiet sure what to do. Good luck though, I hope you feel if not fully accepted, at least safe.

Hmmm... well, if you want to come out, here's a really cliched but cute way of doing it. Find a guy who doesn't mind (or heck, would be flattered) to have to openly courting him, and spend a lot of time with your friends at first to give them the imprint of how that's who you are, and you aren't going to change just because you came out.
The girls might be a helpful start, since you've mentioned they know you're gay and most likely aren't ready to beat you up, ne?
When you find your perfect time and place to come out, include the fact that you have a crush on that boy of yours, so if any of your guy friends feel uncomfortable with you around them, you can tell them that they're just not your type. XD
Remember to continue to subtly, but openly, keep asking that other guy out. The girls will find it really cute, and eventually the guys will just roll their eyes at you and not mind too much because it's not them.
...that may seem a bit deception-like, but I've had a gay friend come out like that. He was on th wrestling team, so yeah... ^^; lots of testosterone going on there. But when he came out, he admitted to already having a boyfriend and that he was going to remain faithful and... well, they'll come around. If they don't, they're not your friends.

The people who care that you're gay, the ones that call you names and the ones you're afraid will hurt you, they're idiots. There is nothing wrong with being gay, and they just look stupid when they say stuff like that. It sounds like your town is tiny. Try moving to a bigger place, you'll have better luck.
You shouldn't be afraid of people. It's so wrong that they make you feel threatened like that. Urgh! One of my best friends is gay, and it just makes me to mad to hear about idiots!
Go with your heart, those guys will find out eventually, most girls can't keep their mouths shut.
