I wore Heels at a concert once! Guess what happened? I fell FLAT ON MY FACE!!!!!!! In front of everyone! Of course being me I stood up really fast and almost passed out! I laughed at myself forever I could barely play after tht I was laughing so hard! lol!

I can't play in heels. I can't walk either, but that's beside the point. I play horn, and if I have high heels, it moves my leg up and makes it really uncomfortable to play (as I'm used to no heels). I would argue against that. Point out that falling flat on your face (as most of us do) can break instruments.

my student conductor ripped her dress with hers. they had to sew it after the concert. luckily i don't have to worry about that, i have to worry about dress shoes that hurt like hell. (i'm a guy).

i wore high heels once...and i twisted my ankle within at least 5 min. >.<

Depends how high the heel is. Some people in my school's band wore see through shirts,mini skirts,and like 6 inch high heels;that's really not a way to look for something professional as a band concert.
