Last night for the first time in weeks I decided to turn my phone off since I had been abusing it lately by letting the battery power get way too low before I charged it. I left for my counseling appointment at 2, was halfway there, then realized I left my phone at home. So I went back and got it, turned it on, and stuffed it in my purse without checking it, leaving it on silent. I get to the office and I'm told to wait. So I get my phone out and it says I have a voicemail. So I check to see who left it, and while I'm listening to it a lady approaches me and says, "I'm sorry, Dr. _____ had something urgent come up..." and out of panic and not wanting to be rude, I idiotically delete the voicemail on my phone and close it, even though I heard the beginning and knew it was from my counselor. "She said she tried calling you earlier and left a message. She probably left instructions on how to reschedule an appointment." I'm just like, "...Okay. sweatdrop "
I should just go back to bed.
