After losing the game, Bill Belichick made his way off of the feild before the game had technically ended. Its one thing to not want to be in the spotlight when you lose its another to attract attention to yourself by making a long march across and off the feild with the security following you and the whole circus. But then to also leave you men, the men you trained and lead out there to take the real loss as you run and hide is even worse. And to not let the Giants have their momment and stand by and watch the loss yourself you are really saying something. And its not good at all. Just couldn't not say it. Great Job Giants! Sorry Pats Fans!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels that was messed up.

It reminds of when the Detroit Pistons walked off the court prior to the Chicago Bulls beating 'em to go onto their first trip to the NBA finals.

I think it showed poor class on Belichick's part. Maybe he had good reason to leave fast. I mean with all the new information coming out about how much the Pat's might have cheated, I'd wanna get outta the public light asap too blaugh

I hope Belichick's antics doesn't overshadow the Giants remarkable win

I think the media made it a lot more defined pats win then anyone else. To be honest the pats aren't and wern't that good. They were good, but not great. The NFL wanted a perfect team. Because in all seriousness if you watch their later season games you go...seriously...did you really not call that, or did you really call that.... I know it seems rediculous now but if you watched Ray Lewis on tv before teh chargers game he said exactly what the team needed to do. He knew that when the raven's played them. It wasn't hard, just had to do it and stick to it. So I am glad that the Giants won because I would have hated the NFL for making the Pats 19-0. So yeah...YAY Giants.

Go Giants! Immortal Joe Montana! The only quarterback to go 4-0 in the Superbowl! Wait... Bradshaw too... But, because I'm a Niners fan. Lol. Now, no matter what Tom Brady does, even if he wins 5 Superbowls, he still has that one loss. Hahaha! I laugh at you Brady!!!! Lol.

Too bad for Junior Seau though. Wish he could get his ring. He's a good guy. The only guy I really like on the Patriots. Although to retire then unretire... Meh... Iono.

Well Belichick was always this way, so I was not at all surprised that he left early from the Super Bowl's end. It may have been class-less, but it's the classic Belichick that you've known all along.

...I actually forgive Belichick for this. I mean, many players, fans, and coaches (including Coughlin), and myself - thought that the game was over after the Brady 4th down incompletion. At least he shook Coughlin's hand, although there was no recompense or verbal congratulations.

The Giants sealed the win on that play, and only needed to kneel down to fully secure being crowned Champions. Nothing stupid was going to be pulled, to it was alright to walk out with time in question.

...But you have to feel a bit for Belichick. I mean, you go 18-0, and all is at stake if you win the next game. You complete the undefeated season, you win the Super Bowl and are crowned Champions, and you can be in the discussion for being the greatest NFL team in history. But a loss completely diminishes those dreams, and you are losers at 18-1. If I were Belichick, I would have resigned out of depression.

He possibly cheated and ran up the score on other teams to no other reason. So no I don't feel that I can just forgive him for that. It was clear the game was not over ifyou know the rules and to be honest I would hope a coach of a pro team would have the sence to know. And to be honets I have seen weirder things then someone fumbling on taking a knee. And he left his team out there. He left them to deal with the end being a loss. What kind of leader does that? Yeah the worst kind...a cheater that knows he was beat.

I mean...it wasn't too clear whether the game was over or not. The TV clock ran out, the seconds lingered on the last play, and even Coughlin and the tech crews came onto the field. If he hadn't met with Coughlin after the game, at all, then I would have been very critical on his action.

But he knew the game was not over....they reset the clock in the stadium after a maybe three seconds. None of his players left the feild. Just him. He pushed his way through and left them to lose alone. Lets be honest what is he hurrying to do in the locker room. They have to shower and changed and so on....but what does he have to do other then wallow in his own self pitty and try to steal the lime light from the Giants by being a jerk.

There is only one answer for this... T.O.

I hate Terrell Owens

That wasn't really the topic...I usto dislike him but now I think he is a good player and is finally playing as part of a team. So I give him props for that.

At least he made a handshake. If he hadn't accepted the fact that he lost, then he should have been suspended from the league.

...But Belichick is Belichick, and you know what to expect. I mean...I'd be really depressed to go undefeated into the Super Bowl, then lose it all... stressed

But those players actually won or lost those games...what kind of coach leaves them to suffer alone on the feild. What kind of leader leaves his men?

He's the General, he should've stayed with his men 'til the very end. He wasn't far enough away to not know the game wasn't over

But every losing coach in the NFL always confronts the opposing coach after the game, and comes right off the field, into the locker room. The losing coach doesn't hang around and cry with their team on the field. They don't soak up the atmosphere. The losing coach is disappointed in losing. They don't even do interviews on the field.
