Just a few questions about this company. I know they make awsome basses, but: How are their Amps, I've though about getting one, but I don't really know. Any one have EXP with them? I really like their Corvettes, mostly the Double buck, which is what I will probably buy, but how do their other guitars measure up? Mainly I'd like to go fretless, but I can make do with frets for sure. Should I go with the corvette or get some thing a little higher end from them?

That was till rent came one month and I was short..... ...that was a sucky period. But the fretless is awesome and gives off a great fat, but flat tone. As far as their amps, you're on your own. Never even touched one before.

It would probably be easier to just go for an Ampeg. I don't have clue 1 on where to find a Warwick amp except online.

The only one I like is the STV tube, and then only the early modles. I'm also not much of a fan of tube amps.

I currently Have Ashdown. 300 mag that I got on sale. I'm all ready looking for bigger things, but I'm a horder, so I'm not selling my Mag. Maybe an SWR or some thing, I tried those out. Seriously though Ampg is way too bassy for me. I like my solid state amps personally with basses.

SWRs are great amp for the price. SWRS have a shitload of low end, but you can still maintain crystal clear highs when you need it. I just have an old SWR workingmans series 115 combo and I love it to death. As for the warwick amps, bassplayer magazine gave it good reviews but it looks too pricey to me.

See, my bass is pretty trebly on it's own, add in the EMG J and DC I put in it, and I need all the bass I can get from my head and cab. I like my sound to be as beefy as possible.

Yeah I can tottally see that. My bass sucks and I need all the tone I can get, what tone it does have is all bass, so it prity much makes any thing sound really muddy with out a good deal of trebel. Maybe the Ampgs I played on are different, I really don't get the over drive thing really. Exorb SWRs are great amp for the price. I'd like to get a cab from them also, but I think I'm gona go avatar next.

The fretless Corvettes are really great for the price. I enjoy the other basses, but they're simply too pricey for what you get. Unless you can find a Katana, but those are discontinued, and i've never seen one fretless.
As for amps, i love my SWR Workingman 400W. if i had a better cab i'd love it even more, but the only better amp i could ask for would be an Ampeg or an Eden.
