dvddavid Dude-LAP Oreion i dont know farve allways seemed like one of the guys who'd play until they physically couldn't play eney more. he probaly wanted 2 rest up more if hes gona play again. another thing i dont think some 1 age should detirmin if they should retire i think some 1 own desire and ability should I agree with you on the retirement relating to ability. ...But he has a whole few months to prepare for next season. Resting isn't in his mind. It might be a decision on retirement, but probably not. But I think it's just because he's still pissed about not being the Super Bowl. good point but i think he'll be back. Just like last year he said he was gone. I think he'll stop playing when he gets another ring Well you always play for the other ring. But if I remember correctly, at the beginning or end of this season, Favre said that he was committed to returning next season. I, too, think that he'll return, but we'll just have to wait and see.

But the Giants earned that game. The NYG front 7 (defensive line and linebackers) put on a lot of pressure on Favre, to make him uncomfortable which forced bad decisions. The Giants secondary played exceptionally well. Also, Favre did not get much help from Ryan Grant with the non-existent run game, and their young offensive line.

I think he'll be back next year, and he probably just dropped out of the pro bowl to spend more time with his family. but who knows, he might be using that time to think about his decision to play another year or not.

I personally think that he has respect for the NFL, and won't make a decision until after Super Bowl Sunday...maybe around the Pro-Bowl time.

Did you here that there was a roomer going around to change the date of the pro bowl during the one week off before the super bowl... i think thats bad becasue the guys who are in the super bowl and pro bowl (Tom Brady) can get hurt or be forced to drop out and there wont be anyone to watch in the probowl what do you guys think. Do you think they should keep it the same date.

They should move it...But not before the Super Bowl. ...I say move it to two Saturdays after the Super Bowl, so that the NFL Champions can savor their win.

gosustar i dont know but that guy still has some game left in him for another season. Of course he does. And I think that leading the youngest team in the NFL, and getting as close to the Super Bowl as they did; will bring Favre back to the NFL another season.
